A man gooned to Rapunzel for 36 hours straight. This is what happened to his organs.

Horrific for so many reasons.
- Preying on young interested devs who will be simply used as metrics fodder for Epic while also learning nearly ZERO actual skills.
- Pathetic fake news “wait months to prototype”. I’ve won MANY game jams where I made an entire game solo/with team in 48 hours flat. Differing skillsets forced us to adapt and make something very creative with the extra constraints. Also forced us to perform many roles and learn new skills every single time.
- Real game jams are where I got first noticed by the game industry. My first jam directly led to my first published educational game with the CDC in 2016 during my second year of college. I made that game in FLASH largely by myself.
- I really hope in person no AI jams still take place at universities. The cross pollination of skills leveled everyone up so quickly in those days…
Vibe your way to 50K.

ALT Red pill or blue pill meme from The Matrix, about choosing between two paths. Two open hands are held out on a black background. The red pill is labeled “Ship awesome games in a weekend.” The blue pill is labeled “Wait months to prototype.”
