JMU’s offense averages over 41 points a game, and Troy’s defense is not built to stop it.
The Dukes have scored 45 on Marshall, 46 at Old Dominion and 49 on Georgia State, and they put up 87 on Wagner. That’s the offense Troy has to travel to Harrisonburg and slow down, with JMU having a full week of rest.
And Troy is not going to match them. The Trojans scored 10 or fewer points in two of their last three games against FBS teams, and they played Saturday and are back on the road on a short week.
JMU is also coming off a 34-31 loss at App State last Thursday, so you get a team that wants to bounce back at home. 18.5 is a lot of points but I get a good offense, a ticked-off home team, and a visitor on a short week. Good enough for me.

I don't see dead people on Halloween weekend but I do see points here. CAR games average 54 points, and their D gives up almost 28 a game -- 43 last week to a team that has a similar profile to GB (a Bucs team that starts with a great RB, and GB has one in Jacobs.) Big night coming for him. Ladder up those props BTW.
Green Bay’s defense isn’t safe either. The Packers gave up 39 to Minnesota and 35 to Atlanta on this same Thursday night stage. Carolina’s offense averages 26+ a game, and if they’re playing from behind they’ll keep throwing.
The Packers are favored, and the Panther D has been porous. If both teams hit their averages, we get home on this one.

Over his last 17 games, he's had 100 yards one time (101 in last year's finale) and has 80+ only two other times.
