Temps look mild for Halloween, but lots of clouds and a rain chance. Rain is not a lock, timing may shift later but know that we could see some light showers

Good luck to the half marathon runners this morning! Temperatures are in the 50s for your race
While not peak at all, the Fall foliage is getting prettier and the color change is definitely in progress! Enjoy a nice weekend with mornings near 50 and afternoons in the mid to upper 70s. #FirstAlert4
Drought continues and will worsen in the next week. Slim rain chances until next weekend. That's Halloween, but we can still get timing changes and I hope we do for the sake of the kiddos. Will keep you posted #FirstAlert4

Spot showers may last through about 6 to 7pm before tapering off. But you may want a towel if some stands at Friday Night Football have some leftover rain drops. Otherwise bundle up for a cool night with a chilly breeze #FirstAlert4

It’s a good morning for Miss Ponder, 80, South City. Her utilities were shut off for a week. She also has a serious medical condition. HeatUpStLouis.Org not only pledged $500 to get her reconnected but told her about the utility’s medical alert program, #SavingLives

It's a flannel alert and we are overdue for this....a major cool down after record setting heat this past Tuesday. Friday's high of 56 with cloudy skies and windy conditions will feel downright chilly #FirstAlert4
Scattered storms Thursday AM lift north then we'll watch if the atmosphere can develop storm fuel ahead of a cold front. Low risk for now, but 3pm to 10pm stay alert in case the severe risk comes to fruition. Here's more:

Some needed rainfall and totals varied quite a bit, but officially 0.88" at KSTL. Some lingering showers possible today, especially south, but there will be quite a bit of dry time for the region
A new record high today and we were only 1 degree away from a tie for the record high in the month of October. As it is, today's 93 is the hottest on record this late in the year! Milder Wed. & Thurs., then a BIG cool down Friday #FirstAlert4
Ready to ride the weather roller coaster? We will go from a high of 95 Tuesday to 62 by Saturday. Until then, we have two unusually hot days. 94 is the hottest temperature for the month of October and we have a chance to tie or break that monthly record today & tomorrow.

With the temps going up and down like a yo-yo, it’s typical STL weather. What is steady is affordability of utility costs for many MO/IL families & seniors. At HestUpStlouis.Org we urge some type of budget billing. Regardless, we and our partners are here to help you.
Not quite a record, but a hot one today! More 80s through early next week #FirstAlert4
We're also still watching what is now Tropical Storm Isaias, as the remnants of that storm will move into the Ohio Valley late Saturday into Sunday. At this point I don't see much of an impact, but I am not giving up on some rain skirting the area or the track shifting West
We are stuck in a warm to hot pattern with some days near record highs. A proper cool down will wait until next week.
