Back from vacation with some personal news:
This is my last week on the Memphis beat for the Daily Memphian.
Next week I head down to Texas to cover all things TCU and more for the @startelegram.
Mark Campbell says TCU G Jessie-May Hall is one of the best passers the program has ever had. Said she's explosive and not your typical freshman.
TCU WBB will have a much younger roster this season than the past two seasons.
Head coach Mark Campbell said that was intentional as they aim to build a core that can be retained and developed over the next few seasons.
Dykes said he felt TCU had a really good practice today. He said he knows people get tired of him saying that but the team showed up determined and practiced their tail off.
Ed Small also said he felt the team had a great practice today
Ed Small says Sonny Dykes has been more vocal in practice with the team the last few weeks and it's been cool to see his perspective on more things.
Dykes says there's no injury update on RBs Jeremy Payne and Landon Walker. Seems like both will be questionable for Kansas.
Dykes mentions TCU has missed a FG in three of its one-score losses.
Also said he believes the staff's playcalling can improve.
Sonny Dykes said Kansas LB Trey Lathan is one of the best in the Big 12.
Leads the Jayhawks with 48 tackles (3.5 TFL)
Dykes says TCU is very determined to get the season back on track. Says the Frogs have been their own worst enemy this season.
Sonny Dykes said part of the reason the program parted ways with A.J. Ricker was the desire to improve and 'get on the same page.'
Said he loves Ricker like a brother and he appreciates his contributions he's made with him over the years.

West Virginia was allowing 45 ppg in Big 12 play. TCU managed just 20.
I’m getting another old fashioned.

TD Horned Frogs. Jaden Craig lofts one up for TE Ka'Morreun Pimpton for the 6-yard score. #TCU leads 7-3 (3:07 Q1). Officials talked about it, and it's upheld.
