I have seen many stories of cruelty on October 7th, but nothing as heartbreaking as this.
This is the Goldstein-Almog family from Kfar Aza.
On October 7th, the men of Gaza entered the family home, broke into the safe room where the family was hiding, and murdered the father, Nadav Goldstein, in front of his whole family. ,
The men of Gaza forced Chen, the mother of this family, and the children to step over Nadav's body as they left the safe room.
Yam Goldstein, their 20-year-old daughter, fainted after seeing her murdered father, and as the mother Chen was trying to help her daughter Yam, the men of Gaza shot 20-year-old Yam in the face and killed her in her mother's arms.
Chen was forced to leave her daughter's body behind and was kidnapped along with her three younger children.
Agam, the eldest of the three, witnessed the murders of her father and sister and tried to help Yam when she collapsed. Tal and Gal, the two younger boys, were also forced from their home into captivity in Gaza.
They were held in the most cruel and abusive conditions possible, and were returned in a hostage deal 51 days later.
How can a human live with such trauma???
What kind of society carries out horrors like this???

On 7 April 2003, then-Capt. Kim “KC” Campbell, call sign tied to the nickname “Killer Chick,” was flying an A-10 Thunderbolt II on a close air support mission over Baghdad. After attack runs to help U.S. troops, her jet was hit. The best-supported account is a surface-to-air missile or heavy anti-aircraft fire that tore into the tail and fuselage and knocked out both hydraulic systems at once.
The A-10 rolled left and pointed at the city. The stick went dead. She chose not to eject over Baghdad and switched to manual reversion, the A-10’s mechanical backup of cables, pulleys, and cranks. The jet responded and climbed away.
With her flight lead, Lt. Col. Rick “Bino” Turner, she flew the damaged aircraft roughly an hour south to a friendly base (often given as about 300 miles or about 300 nautical miles, depending on the source). She had no normal brakes, speed brakes, or nosewheel steering.
The landing succeeded. She used emergency/alternate braking. Fellow A-10 pilots later said the landing was exceptionally good for a jet with no hydraulics. Ground crews found extensive damage: a large hole in the tail, engine damage, and many shrapnel holes. She received the Distinguished Flying Cross.

How can anyone endure so much heartbreak? 💔
Top photo — July 3, 2016. 15-year-old Padaya (Fadya) Menachem Mark at the funeral of his father, Rabbi Michael (Miki) Mark, who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists on July 1, 2016. Beside him is Yossi Cohen, who was already serving as the head of Mossad at the time.

Padaya was just 22 years old. He served as a platoon commander in the Givati Brigade and was killed when an anti-tank missile struck his armored personnel carrier. 😭💔
May his memory be a blessing. 💔🙏

Little man syndrome; Abdul has no idea what he's talking about. Proud to say, as Pete's dad, he was an absolute star on the court in HS. Captain, all-conference, all-state player...earned! We parents cheered him on, yes. That's what families do-support each other. #Envy makes him bitter.
Everyone in the country knew they would put someone near the line of scrimmage to take out 13. Why could we not adjust and use him as a decoy?
One offensive player came to play and he was hurt. Stockton was excellent. A couple catches by the tight ends were excellent. Singleton needed to make that catch!
We had two weeks to come up with an offensive game plan knowing they were going to put pressure and take our runway the key to stop in Florida and it’ll be another week before our so-called genius offensive coordinator figures out how to do it. It’s just hard to watch this incompetence year after year.
That said I’m proud of the defense 99 came to play so did the rest of them. That 2 makes me angry because we had two losses rushing three and four people playing soft defense no gator defensive coordinator should be allowed to use Bend but don’t break mentality.. we need to bring it on every play make them feel the hits in our defense did a lot of that tonight, but I’m most impressed with their heart. Unlike Billy’s teams they did not quit!

No, they do not! Five games and 1/4 did the same thing three man and four man front with no pressure. Finally the head coach had enough and we adjusted and the team has played excellent football since.
The offensive side of the ball is a stunner how in the world if they bring a safety up to key on 13 we do not use him as a decoy every time we tried to slant Stockton was open and caught the ball.. kudos to him too. He plays her while others don’t we have two weeks to come up with an offensive game plan what an embarrassment.
When they brought a safety up to key in on BAUGH, we should’ve used him as a decoy. Just can’t imagine we do not know how to adjust on that side of the ball. Once the first team showed how to stop our running attack we should’ve figured out and we started getting the ball out quicker. We need the slants.. and we need more players with the heart of Stockton! He plays hurt
Congratulations to the defense you guys came to play and did not quit and you’ve adjusted on that side of the ball proud of you.
Go gators
Go Gators
I will say one positive thing about this absolute disaster of a game.
Our defense is in over its head here— but at least they aren’t quitting. That’s more than we could say about Billy Napier teams, and it’s more than we could say about the Missouri and South Carolina games. It is progress.
It’s still not good enough as an overall product, mind you— but it is progress.
I’m not very happy right now. We got our skulls bashed in by our rivals AGAIN and that’s just not acceptable. But I can note the progress.

Two #Gators players that deserve a ton of credit for showing up despite the really bad showing for Florida currently:
Bailey Stockton and Emmanuel Oyebadejo
Transfers that have embodied Jon Sumrall’s culture and made huge impacts at a new level of competition.

I'm so tired of watching football teams that can't tackle, commit boneheaded penalties, and look defeated before halftime. It's exhausting man.

Get generals who can and will obliterate this regime AND arm the Iranian people.
NEW: Iran's supreme leader is ordering his military to update its target list to bring U.S. and Israeli assets within striking range.
Mojtaba Khamenei issues the directive following a meeting with senior military commanders, warning that any renewed threat from the U.S. or Israel will be met with an "immediate, impactful, and geographically unrestricted response."
Fox News' @madeleinerivera reports the warning could mark a significant escalation as the U.S. reportedly considers additional strikes on Iran after the midterms.
