Therapy can only do so much if you’re not able to get your basic needs met. Mental health is affordable housing. Mental health is free healthcare. Mental health is free education. Mental health is food security. Mental health is financial stability. Therapy can’t fix the system.

BREAKING: Taybeh, the last entirely Palestinian Christian village in the West Bank, is under a complete blockade by Israeli forces: no one allowed in or out.
I spoke with a resident of Taybeh who described the impact of the movement restrictions:
"You can’t plan your day. Checkpoints close suddenly and you get stuck and delayed and your day gets messed up. It’s frustrating, it wastes you time, you get emotionally and physically drained.
What bothers me the most is you’re no longer in control of your life becasue you’re no longer in control of your time, your route or your plans.
You start working out your day according to the closures, change appointments, cancel and postpone things you have to get done.
They control your movement, so they control you."

🚨 My wife's life and her pregnancy are now in danger.
My wife is suffering from malnutrition due to the lack of healthy food, including vegetables, meat, fruit, and clean drinking water.
As a result, her baby weighs only 1.5 kilograms, even though she is now at the end of her eighth month of pregnancy. This places both her life and her baby's life in a critical condition.
Today, the doctor urgently prescribed treatments rich in vitamins, protein, and minerals, along with foods rich in these essential nutrients, so that her baby can benefit from as much nourishment as possible, improve his health, and gain weight before his expected birth on November 26, 2026.
That is why we need you now more than ever. This is about my wife's life and my child's life, and trying to save them from the danger that threatens them every moment.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help us provide the food, clean water, medication, and medical care they need to protect their health. We have only a few days left, and time is running out as our fears for their lives continue to grow.
I beg you, from the bottom of my heart, please do not hesitate to donate and share our campaign.
Your support could be what we need to save my wife and child and give them a chance to survive.🥹🙏

So far, the Israeli occupation forces have forcibly displaced around 250 Palestinian families from their homes in Hebron, without allowing them to take their belongings or vehicles, except for a suitcase of clothes, ahead of the planned demolition of their homes.

It’s worth clarifying something as folks are sharing news of the West Bank being “shut down”. Importantly, it is not the entire West Bank which is shut down—it is Palestinian cities, towns, and villages. Settlers are free to travel through open roads and checkpoints, as always.
West Bank just got locked down, four days before Israeli elections. Hundreds of checkpoints and gates are now shut. Almost 3.5 million Palestinians are stranded right now. This is collective punishment of an entire population under military occupation.
My god. They're intending to turn all of West Bank into a trap Palestinians can't escape. It's what they did in Sabra and Shatila in 1982 and it was a massacre.

US keeps moving out its assets from its Al Udeid US base in Qatar.
If they are indeed evacuations, then once Al Udeid is empty, the possibility of renewed attacks on Iran will be very high.
Several unusual flights have departed from various bases in the Middle East, suggesting that the evacuation of assets is finally underway.
A KC-46A refueling tanker and a C-5M heavy cargo aircraft have departed from Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Another U.S. Air Force C-5M departed from Dubai, UAE, a short while ago, while a CV-22B Osprey has taken off from Abu Dhabi and is currently heading toward U.S. Navy vessels in the Arabian Sea.
Several of these flights use the "RCH" callsign, while this does not definitively confirm they are evacuation flights, it is worth noting that escort missions over the strait typically do not have an assigned callsign.

Only trade unions may protest now.
That's Macron's new rule. Demonstrations not organised by unions will be banned in the coming days, he said. Approved marches get rerouted out of city centres to protect businesses.
His explanation: "seditious acts" by the "ultra-left" trying to "bring down the Republic".
The numbers so far >
2,700 people taken into custody
217 already convicted and jailed
1,000 more being prosecuted
Protests banned in parts of Paris, Lyon, Lille and Grenoble. Marseille banned all of Saturday's.
And how did it start ? A high school in Créteil with not enough staff.
Now swap the names. A president in Beijing or Tehran says only approved organisations may march and blames "sedition".
Every Western newsroom would run the word dictatorship by the evening.

It has been now over 15 years since Gaddafi was killed. There has not been a parliamentary election in over 12 years. There has never been a presidential election, having been delayed for almost 10 years. There is still no legal definition defining the powers of that presidency.

Within the next 48 hours, if flour is not allowed into Gaza, all bakeries in the city will stop producing bread.
We are facing an enormous catastrophe. Famine is knocking on our doors once again, and this time, it could be worse than anything we have experienced before.
Please, do not remain silent! Talk about Gaza, make our voices heard around the world, and do everything you can before thousands of people lose access to something as basic as a loaf of bread.

A message I received from Gaza today, written by a starving teenager. Knowing what they are living through these words should cut through each one of us who has witnessed for over three years this genocide. Food is so scarce and medicine is even more scarce. Please read these words and consider what their family and countless other families have been living with for 3+ years. It is truly devastating:
“Israel has allowed goods to enter Gaza, but continues to prevent the entry of vegetables, fruits, and anything related to food aid.
What Israel is doing is nothing but deliberate deception of the world, and an attempt to cover up the crime of genocide and the systematic starvation policy it continues to inflict on families in Gaza through different methods and means.
Israel allows goods that families do not need to enter, while preventing them from accessing everything they need to stay alive: food, water, and medicine.
It is not opening Gaza’s doors to life; instead, it continues to strangle it through starvation and deprivation, deceiving the world with false appearances, while families are left to face hunger, disease, and death.”
******
Please stand up for these innocent children and stop imposing a famine on them. There are children, losing teeth from malnutrition, and there are few dentists to help them. We American citizens have to say no - we have to say no more financing the Zionist state, no more financing genocide, no more financing child murder, no more financing a famine that is being imposed on starving traumatized innocent people.

A week ago, Israel announced it would not allow more food into Gaza. Gaza is surrounded on all sides by Israeli forces and cannot import food any other way. And yet the potential forced starvation of a devastated population has barely registered anywhere.

Yeah that's terrible. Hey maybe the problem could be solved by stopping the sale of illegally occupied West Bank land? There's a land sale this Saturday in Riverdale, great chance to put your money where your mouth is, Mr. Mayor
Today, Brad Lander, rabbis, and other New Yorkers accompanied Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest. For that, they were detained by the Israeli government.
Harvesting olives is not illegal. The occupation is.
I am thankful that Brad has been released. But other New Yorkers remain detained, and they must be released immediately.
The same Israeli government detaining them has committed a horrific genocide against Palestinians, killing more than 74,000 people over the last few years alone.
The detention of these New Yorkers must end. The occupation must end. The genocide must end.

There are many ways for Israel to impose famine on Gaza. The traditional method is a siege. This is complemented by a campaign to destroy the international aid network that keeps Palestinians alive. Israel has blocked vital groups from operating in Gaza, while its allies cut funding to those still allowed to be there.
Sadism prevails:
🚨 Due to funding shortages, WFP is forced to reduce food assistance in Gaza by around one-third, meaning half a million people will lose access to critical aid.
The cuts come as winter approaches and the recent modest improvements in food security remain fragile.
From this month, we are supporting 1.1 million of the most vulnerable people in Gaza with food and cash assistance, down from 1.6 million last month. Food rations will also be cut by half.
WFP urgently calls for additional funding in order to keep reaching the most vulnerable in Gaza and the West Bank.
