A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY OF PATRICK BARCLAY
"It is with the greatest sadness that we must announce the death of our dear Patrick Barclay.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at a later date.
Meanwhile, we hope that the family’s wish for privacy is respected." Full tributes to follow...

It was a beautiful experience, I loved every second. Here's a proxy, over at ER now.

One more chance to #SaveCotonOrchard before the decision leaves local control. This bonkers plan to “pave paradise…” still needs @CambsCC approval—they say it’s a “rubber stamp”. Let’s make enough noise so councillors pause and really consider the impact on wildlife across @MadingleyHill. Sign the petition, write your councillor, help defend nature!! 🌳🚌❌✏️ change.org/p/save-the-green-…
Mostly good. But having a go at Murder Most Foul and again getting it mixed up with the not lengthy "Multitudes" here: "Well, as he later put it in a very long – frankly interminable – song, he contains multitudes". #dylan #bobdylan

A very happy birthday to this blue boy. An inspiration then, and an inspiration now.
Still remember the teenage thrill of seeing him stride up Queen Street in his Davy Crockett hat.

Discovering the real Roussillon – a unique, undervalued region making quality wines at the sharp end of climate change. It's a patchwork of terroir and altitudes, with a Catalans identity; 50% of vines 50 years old+ with the lowest yields in France. Click the-buyer.net/insight/turner…

Once we’ve ripped out all the #orchards, suffocated our #soil with concrete, felled all our mature #trees there will be no #food, clean #air, #bird song… Vote against a #SilentSpring 🐦🗳 #SaveCotonOrchard from @GreaterCambs’ bonkers busway 🌳🚌❌✏️ change.org/p/save-the-green-…

Tasting some 2022 Rhônes with @cambridgewine and preferred them to the 2022 Burgundies, especially for the price
