I never thought i'd be nostalgic for the time when boomers posted "live love laugh" on facebook instead of whatever this is

Say her name. I'm pretty damn sure her parents didn't named her Mexican student
Mexican Student invented a portable acoustic fire extinguisher and won a gold medal in Indonesia
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Mexican student Ángela Karime Hernández Venegas developed a prototype and won gold at the 2026 ISIF student science fair in Indonesia. The idea of acoustic fire suppression was previously demonstrated by George Mason University students in 2015.

Happy Birthday my one, @per_asp3ra
You are electric sunsets. You are auroras.
You are breathtaking waterfalls.
You are the sweetest dessert.
You are the rays of light.
You are all that is divine.
You are simply awe inspiring.
Happy birthday my love. I am loving you beyond space and time. Everything is for you. It always will be.

This movie has a such a beautiful ethereal sheen in its cinematography and colorings.
Black skin captured elegantly.
A moving portrait of a father, family and religious meditation so richly layered with Mahershala Ali delivering a performance that shows why he’s has 2 Oscars.

Is God Is spoilers (you’ve been warned)
this monologue is what solidified this movie as one of my fav films of the year. kara young plays racine SO well. the delivery of “i wanna step on sum for once.” you know she’s too far gone, but you can’t help rooting for her anyway.

I'm still here... It's how Shunsui highlights that it's his and Jushiro's shared effort. Mimihagi has been their fallen deity, defining their bond throughout the centuries, but instead of focusing on their doom, they used it for good...

being “disfigured” or “disabled” especially as a black woman, is treated as the ultimate form of social death. i will never shut up about racine’s “ain’t we been kilt naia?” bc it says so much with so little words.

It's mad that, aside from 'The Parting of the Ways', this is easily the best regeneration story of the past 40 years.
Four years ago today, The Power of The Doctor first aired on BBC One and iPlayer as part of the BBC Centenary.. and we sadly said goodbye to The Thirteenth Doctor with the blossomiest blossom 💔 #DoctorWho 💙💙
