The Sixers win was obviously impressive. But I was more impressed by how they played. Their defense was excellent. They were flying to the ball, rotating, helping off their man. They were unselfish on offense: 28 assists on 37 made field goals. All 5 starters had 10+ FG attempts. 6 players had 10+ points. And the crazy part? This was their first game together.
I have no idea how this season will turn out. But you literally couldn’t have asked for a better opening game from the Sixers.
