I’ve failed many times in my life and career and because of this I’ve learned a lot. Instead of feeling defeated countless times, I’ve used it as fuel to drive me to work harder. So today, join me in accepting our failures. Let’s use them to motivate us to work even harder.

Stance, stay between ball and basket, be in help position off ball, recover, stay down on fakes and slide feet, hands up, switch ball screens, and box out. I'm coaching a 4th grade team, but we do same stuff at college level. Ball is ball, youth coaches please teach this stuff.

The parents of HS prospects dropping hundreds of $ on the recruiting companies that send mass emails to college coaches with their contact info and a video is such a waste of money. Please do it yourself and save the money.

Great to get back on court and work with 40 dedicated college prospects today. Lot of "show and go" teaching then breaking into small groups. "Learn by doing" is best way to learn. "Do the next right thing right" is the best mindset to play with. TY to the players and coaches!

Analytics and the 4 key statistical factors in winning basketball games are key. But I think the 4 most important "non-statistical" factors to winning are: 1. Preparation 2. Our bench and players on court being loud 3. Being in our stance on D 4. Cutting hard on offense.

Coached Pro-Am, College, HS, JV, Church League, 4th-6th: this is good way to boil down offense:
Catch and look first; Pass to the first open player you see; Throw short/quick passes; If coach says “move” cut to hoop or screen for the player below you; get one player back on d
