We're excited to share that Storii has been awarded a $1.7M NIH SBIR Phase II grant to help reduce social isolation and improve mental health for older adults in rural communities. Many older adults lack internet access and feel disconnected. Storii’s simple phone-based reminiscence calls help people share their stories, preserve memories, and improve well-being. This funding from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) will support a clinical trial evaluating our accessible alternative to digital-only tools. We’re grateful to our partners at the UConn School of Nursing and proud to see the NIH recognize the importance of low-barrier solutions that truly meet people where they are.
