Story Drawing Club

Very excited that the Story Drawing Book is ready and making its debut this weekend in the @Whitworthart shop for the Frost Fair this weekend. Every book bought will fund a free book to a primary school student on free school meals! Massive thanks @acegrams for funding this book!

A massive #ThanksToYou to all the #NationalLottery players out there. It's because of you that we have received funding to create an inclusive drawing book that will reach 1,000 children who need it most!

Some lovely work created at Manley Park Primary in Manchester, supported by the wonderful @ArtistsIR So happy we managed to complete the whole project despite many Covid interruptions!

Thanks for your kind words and nomination for #artsharetime @jennycapondraws😍 Here are a few examples of my illustrations. I nominate @mystudio5 because I love the screen printing work she creates with children

We're so excited to announce that Story Drawing Club is making a book to help aspiring young illustrators and writers from all backgrounds, made possible with funding from @ace_national @ace_thenorth!!! Will keep you posted 🙂

Teachers and budding artists - if you want to learn how to create a mono print using just a few materials, check out the video I have created for @ArtistsIR artistsinresidence.org.uk/re…

Looking forward to sharing news on a collaboration with the fab @Z_arts_mcr tomorrow 🙂

Some of the brilliant young authors and illustrators @SwissCottageSch presenting their stories and illustrations. Thank you @ArtistsIR for giving us the opportunity to take Story Drawing Club to such a fantastic school!

@SwissCottageSch A parcel full of amazing stories by all the fantastic artists in Pansy Class should be arriving today 🧡💛💚 @ArtistsIR

A beautiful scene painted yesterday by a budding young artist at Robson House in London, where we were able to take SDC as part of @ArtistsIR - big thanks for the opportunity!

It's nearly that time again...just finished designing the books ready to give to my latest lovely group of Story Drawing Clubbers at Ravensbury Primary School in Manchester...and sometimes if I have time I illustrate the young artists too. Roll on Monday!

Here's the iconic moment when two budding illustrators open their very own illustrated storybook, written and illustrated together with the help of Story Drawing Club. It took a lot of work and some #NationalLottery funding to get to this point... #NationalLottery25

I've been having fun drawing some new animals for the resources for the story writing session of my workshops!

Today I'm taking Story Drawing Club to Varna Primary School - our first school in Manchester! I've been busy hand printing sketchbooks ready to give each young artist taking part in the workshops .
