Congratulations to D-Wave’s Allison Schwartz for being named a #NILETopLobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE).
NILE represents professionals who play a vital role in Washington, D.C. Its honorees include lobbyists, and public policy and government affairs professionals nominated by colleagues, congressional staff, or clients for their outstanding work. Allison’s work and leadership have been instrumental in raising quantum awareness among policymakers and shifting U.S. policy to better recognize the importance of quantum technologies to U.S. national competitiveness and their potential to address complex challenges facing the public sector.
What a well-deserved honor for Allison!
Story Partners Founder & Chair Gloria Story Dittus was thrilled to introduce @FERC Chairman Laura Swett at last night’s Women’s Energy Resource Council Fall Reception. As longtime members, we’re proud to support its work connecting women leaders from government and industry.
Story Partners was proud to support our client @dwavequantum at Quantum World Congress, where leaders shared perspectives on quantum policy & the evolution of the technology. We’re proud to support our clients engaging with policymakers & industry leaders shaping emerging tech.
What a week at the Quantum World Congress! D-Wave was proud to sponsor this year’s event in the Washington, D.C. area and be part of the energy around the rapid progress in quantum technologies. The event has grown tremendously over the past few years, and the momentum was clear throughout the week.
In a keynote to a packed room, D-Wave's Chief Science Officer Rob Schoelkopf discussed D-Wave’s dual-platform approach, including quantum annealing and gate-model systems. Rob shared his own journey in quantum computing, traced the evolution of gate-model systems, and highlighted the potential of D-Wave’s dual-rail approach to advance quantum error correction and fault tolerance.
Allison Schwartz, D-Wave’s senior vice president of global government relations and public affairs, joined two panels. On one panel, she highlighted D-Wave’s use cases that are already making an impact. The conversations covered innovative programs to help build a quantum-ready workforce and how annealing quantum technology is moving beyond innovation to solve real challenges for the public and private sectors.
On the quantum policy panel, Allison discussed the importance of educating policymakers, supporting workforce development, advancing commercialization, and strengthening international partnerships to help build the quantum ecosystem.
The energy carried over to D-Wave’s booth, where attendees stopped by throughout the event to hear talks about our dual-platform approach and some of our partnerships and use cases.
Thank you to the organizers, speakers, and attendees for a terrific event. We’re excited to keep building on this momentum!
