Before kicking off the analysis...just wanna let you guys know every number in this thread comes from my own tracker, wins and losses. If you missed my last thread on the over tax, it ties into this one: xitter.cf/PlusEV/status/21147545…
I talk about my process daily LIVE here:
twitch.tv/cmattdowns
I also post long form sports betting strategies and tips here:
youtube.com/@CMattdowns
Okay now to the data breakdown👇
I wanted to find out why so many bettors beat the closing line and still lose money over a large sample size.
So I went back through 252,000+ graded player props, 100,000+ bets that beat a sportsbook's closing number, every Novig and ProphetX trade since the summer, and 1,790 of my own prop bets.
Here is what your CLV isn't telling you 🧵👇

Parlaying your plays CAN increases your edge.
7,680 (tracked) straight bets and 7,259 (tracked) parlays since 2022, $1.9 million risked:
- Straights: $21.85 profit per $1,000 risked
- Parlays: $34.66 profit per $1,000 risked
Here's the MATH on why it works🧵👇
