The Arctic is becoming one of the most strategically important regions on Earth. Yet much of the North still depends on fuel that must be shipped thousands of kilometres through some of the world's most challenging logistics corridors. That is an energy problem. It is also a sovereignty problem. Today, we're introducing POLAR-1, our transportable microreactor platform designed to provide reliable power for Arctic operations, defence installations, remote communities, and critical infrastructure. If Canada wants to project capability in the North, we need energy systems that can operate where conventional infrastructure cannot. That is what we're building.
