👿This Muslim is mocking Americans and says he has lessons for us on how to live after the “takeover” under “shawarma (sharia) law.”👿 “Say Bismillah before eating… Alhamdulillah when you finish.” “You need to wash your buttholes. The days are mandatory.” “Ketchup and lettuce is a crime on Shawarma(sharia). I will deport you myself.” Then he demands creators end every video with “Assalamu alaikum.” The mockery is open. The assumption of dominance is clear. Repulsive.

🇺🇸 Muslim American politicians and their positions on the Gulf: André Carson: Mainstream Democrat. Supports diplomacy and national-security cooperation but backed efforts to block US arms sales 👍👍 Ilhan Omar: the worst Muslim in congress Progressive. Criticizes Saudi and arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Supports diplomacy with Iran and has spoken favorably of Qatar’s mediation role. Rashida Tlaib: Progressive. Opposes arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, criticizes US involvement in Yemen, and favors diplomacy over military intervention. Lateefah Simon: Progressive socialist. Opposes military escalation with Iran and supports congressional oversight of US military operations. No clearly established Saudi or GCC-specific policy. Aisha Wahab: Progressive. Opposes unauthorized military action against Iran and emphasizes domestic spending. No clear public policy toward Gulf governments. Adam Hamawy: Progressive Democrat. Opposes the Iran war and advocates restricting arms sales to countries accused of serious human-rights violations. No specific Saudi or GCC policy established. Darializa Avila Chevalier: Democratic socialist. Opposes US military intervention and favors redirecting military spending toward domestic priorities. No documented Gulf-specific position. Abdul El-Sayed: Progressive Democrat and Senate candidate. Explicitly opposes US funding for foreign militaries, naming Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. Supports diplomacy with Iran. The takeaway: Muslim representation in Congress does not automatically translate into political support for the Gulf only for Iran diplamcy.

🚨 A short, longish rant on Muslim candidates pushing native lingo. I don’t want to upset you, dearest, but the parallel I’m drawing runs in reverse. When the Dutch, French, Spanish and English colonised other lands, they took control and brought their languages with them. Centuries later, people in many of those places still speak those languages. 🫠 What I see happening in America/ UK etc is the same process working in the opposite direction, through a different model. Europeans and Muslim Arabs carried their languages out into the world through conquest. Today, I see Islamist groups bringing their own languages into a Western country through migration and pushing for wider use. In the colonial model, control came first and language followed. In this model, language itself becomes a means of gaining influence like it did through Islamic conquest 1400 years ago. Different direction, different method. A takeover is a takeover, dearest. 🙏🏻
Democracy in USA delivers. A fraud thief gets re-elected, her 5th times. Won’t bother making English speech. 🥴 Islamic state really! Import them, they will take over.

What if the West has spent years speaking the language of its enemies without realising it? In 2017, I sat in Tehran and watched Khamenei's regime explain how it intended to export its revolution through the Palestinian cause. I saw the political calculation behind the rhetoric. I heard the language being prepared for an international audience. Today, much of that vocabulary echoes through Western universities, political movements and public debate. In my latest article for @JNS_org , I examine how Tehran repackaged its revolutionary ambitions in the language of liberation, anti-racism and human rights, and why its supposed solidarity with Palestinians deserves scrutiny when measured against its support for Assad's brutality in Syria. The most successful propaganda leaves people convinced that the conclusions they repeat are entirely their own. Read: How Tehran Taught the West to Speak Its Language jns.org/opinion/catherine-pe…

The Iranian people are not the Islamic Republic. They are its first victims. I had the privilege of taking part in the meeting with Crown Prince @PahlaviReza, alongside fellow Members of the European Parliament. I was also honoured to deliver the opening remarks. I spoke about why the future of Iran matters enormously to Europe. For too long, the Islamic regime has denied Iranians their freedom while financing terrorism, destabilising the Middle East and supporting Russia's war against Ukraine. A free and democratic Iran would open the door to greater regional stability, stronger economic cooperation and a new partnership between Iran and Europe. Europe's future is closely connected to Iran's future. The Iranian people deserve the right to determine their own future, and we must continue to support that right.

Well, well. The mullahs have suddenly discovered democracy. How touching. Iran's parliament speaker is celebrating the Democrats' victory in the American midterms, declaring that voters have rejected Trump's war and that Tehran endorses their message. Since when did the Islamic Republic become such an enthusiastic defender of the ballot box? The regime that imprisons dissidents, crushes opposition and denies Iranians the freedom to determine their own future now presumes to speak on behalf of the American electorate. Are the Democrats in league with Tehran? That would require evidence. But why does Tehran believe their victory serves its interests? What does the regime expect to gain from a weakened Trump presidency? And was Trump betrayed, or has Tehran simply recognised an opportunity to turn an American electoral defeat into a strategic victory for the Islamic Republic? These are questions worth asking. Americans have every right to reject a war. Their votes, however, are not an endorsement of the dictatorship in Tehran. The mullahs have no newfound affection for democracy. They are celebrating what they hope to extract from its outcome. The question is whether Washington understands the difference.
