hi here's our deal <3
we're a collective of cartoonists, poets, and writers making what we want, supporting each other, and being vaguely from ohio. expect zines & comics of the weird & affordable nature.
thank you for checking out STRANGE DEER
ALT a pen & ink drawing of a rudimentary doodle of a deer standing over the words "STRANGE DEER"
ALT a picture of ohio with this text around it: Strange Deer Press is from Ohio. One person is also from Michigan. Ok, another person lives in minnesota and one lives in illinois but like, it's the midwest. ok, well, someone is also in philly but, our hearts are in Ohio. Whatever. Shut up dad. Ohioans also universally have dad problems. We make: Comics, zines, poetry type things, abolitionist type things, funny type things, day type things. strangedeer.com There is also a mostly transparent, upside-down photo of young Keanu Reeves in the background of the image.

We've launched this amazing campaign to free the Mississippi Five! On the website you can find a zine I helped design & illustrate, with more zines (collabing with great illustrators) on the way. Please read about this campaign and find out how to get involved! And share!
