Kamla the hypocrite. Imagine the leader of the Kakistocracy criticizing the PNM opposition for voting against her dishonest and unbalanced 2027 budget. The UNC in opposition from 2015 to 2024 did not vote in support of a single PNM budget but now has the audacity to criticize the PNM for standing up in defence of the population against the Kakistocracy’s continued destruction of our economy with their rubbish 2027 Budget. We are in a recession under the UNC. The saving grace is the ALNG restructuring achieved in December 2023 and the much better gas prices that the PNM negotiated. We now get LNG cargos to sell and we benefit from significantly higher gas prices. All thanks to the PNM. Whilst Kamla is lounging at home at least six days a week at taxpayers’ expense barely showing up in public once a week, she has failed to appoint Ambassadors and High Commissioners to important diplomatic outposts. She has also failed to appoint numerous boards in breach of the law. The few boards that they have appointed was for them to put their wives, sons, girlfriends, boyfriends, friends and family members, most of whom are unqualified. I am calling upon the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago to publish its FULL audited financial statements for 2025 and to stop hiding the truth. Show the citizens how you came up with the fictitious profit of $3 billion. Kamla and Ramdeen have destroyed the energy sector - unprecedented plant closures and job losses at Pt Lisas with Nutrien closed down, Methanex indefinitely shut down, Proman has sent home over 100 workers. Tobago Police get $50,000 for 2027 to pay for fuel at the pumps. That is Kamla’s “love” for Tobago. How could 14 police vehicles function for 12 months on $50,000.00. The Government still has millions of dollars allocated to URP. The Minister struggled to give a straight answer to questions surrounding these allocations. It is my understanding that persons still remain employed in the URP programme albeit not the most vulnerable. Standing Finance Committee is conducted to interrogate the government’s proposed expenditure of taxpayers’ money. You decide if we get straight answers. The Kakistocracy exposed.

I know that you desperately trying to hold onto the Minister of Energy position but find a better narrative nah. If the Ministry of Energy is claiming that they cannot find agreements to do with the Dragon Gas Field here is some common sense advice (for free):- a) ask the Venezuelan Government for copies - the agreements were all executed in Spanish and there were English translations. But I guess you all not at that stage of relationship that you can ask anyone in Venezuela; b) ask NGC; c) ask the lawyers who advised and settled the agreements; d) ask Shell who were present and signed agreements along with their lawyers. I was a Cabinet Minister, and ended my ten years in government, as Prime Minister. During that ten year period I traveled to conduct the business of Trinidad and Tobago. The results of those travels are well documented and benefit Trinidad and Tobago today and will continue to benefit us well into the future. The restructuring of Atlantic LNG, 30 Year Exploration and Production Licence for Dragon gas, 20 Year Exploration and Production Licence for Cocuina-Manakin, numerous gas projects, all of which have provided us with billions of dollars in revenue and investment and will continue to do so for decades to come.
