Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi ji has envisioned to drive India towards becoming a developed country when we complete 100 years of our independence in 2047. In the global economic landscape today, India remains a bright spot and offers a space to learn, research, innovate and implement. India’s greatest strength lies in its vibrant knowledge ecosystem, demographic dividend, and fast-growing economy. Through NEP 2020 and the Study in India initiative, we are expanding global pathways for students, researchers, and institutions. From AI, biotech and semiconductors to sustainable energy, India is emerging as a trusted innovation partner — advancing a Global South model built on collaboration, capacity-building, and shared knowledge.

India has always been a civilisation of knowledge. From ancient universities like Nalanda, Takshashila, Vikramashila, and Pushpagiri, our land nurtured wisdom, inquiry, and intellectual excellence. Scholars such as Al-Biruni, Megasthenes, Fa Hien, and Ibn Battuta came to study India’s philosophy, sciences, and culture, taking back knowledge that enriched the world. Today, India carries this legacy forward through education, research, and global collaboration. When we speak of India as a study destination, we are not building from zero. We are building on a deep civilisational foundation. #EduIndiaDiplomaticConclave #StudyInIndia
