@jaoliverHEP and I are preparing a talk aimed at new Honours and MPhil students, as an intro to the #StandardModel, as part of our #S4SPhysicsMeeting. Made a nice @Desmos visualisation of the symmetry breaking, I’m very proud!
Today is my 30th birthday! 🎈
Because I’m a particle physics nerd, I requested a “1 lepton” coin, 1/100th of the Greek drachma!
Here’s to finding more leptons in the future!
A rare inter-HEP experiment act of camaraderie🔔2️⃣ x 🏋️🌍 !
The incredible @SubatomicSADLM made me a bracelet that says "RIP LHC Weasel" after my comedy talk last week 😂 I love it so much, thank you!
Trying to convert @allons_yemily, the local ATLAS student, to B(ee)-physics
I had a great time meeting all the Belle II folk at Lepton Photon! Big thanks also goes to Matt Barrett for submitting the social media posts for Belle II! – at Melbourne, Victoria
It's the last day of the Lepton Photon 2023 @lp2023monash conference in Melbourne! Our #Belle2 attendees have worked hard to share their work with the broader high-energy physics community! Well done everyone🎉. We had one last talk today! 🧵1/2

It's Day 4 of Lepton Photon 2023 @lp2023monash in the beautiful city of Melbourne! There was just one talk from a #Belle2 speaker today; we also enjoyed listening to the presentation from #SuperKEKB this morning 🧵1/2
Also can I say, @Eliot_Jane_W has done a MAGNIFICENT job running the @lp2023monash Twitter, as well as educating us on the queer history of science! Candidate for best poster prize definitely! – at Melbourne, Victoria
An incredible format for a public talk, v impressed @suziesheehy @astroduff !
A night in conversation with experts in the very small and the very big as part of @lp2023monash. V tempted to do my own version at home! – at Melbourne, Victoria

It's Day 3 of Lepton Photon 2023 @lp2023monash! We had a half-day, so we could see the local Australian wildlife 🦘! But not before we share some more #Belle2 physics results! Explore our latest presentations in electroweak penguin🐧decays and detector upgrades! 🧵1/3

G’day from #Belle2! Today is the first day of the Lepton Photon 2023 conference @lp2023monash in Melbourne, Australia! Stay tuned this week to @belle2collab for our latest results in flavour physics, the dark sector and detector performance!
After arriving in Melbourne for #LeptonPhoton2023 conference, ready for new Physics results – at Melbourne, Victoria
When I started PhD, I bought myself a rubber duck and made it look like my senior PhD, so that I could “rubber duck debug” code with it.
4 years later, I am now the senior PhD.
I gave a crocheted duck that looked like me to my junior PhD.

.@csferrie gave us HDR students some great advice today!
@csferrie, we’re ready for you!
Chris will be speaking via Zoom to our Physical Sciences HDR Symposium at @UniofAdelaide! He’ll be bestowing his wisdom on writing Science for academia (and also for babies)!
Just met the wonderful @ausphysics Women in Physics Lecturer 2022 @SpaceKatarina! So grateful to meet #WomenInScience role models in Australia, especially those who’ve made tenure!
We had a great time speaking with undergraduate women and their experiences in Physics at @UniofAdelaide. My heart breaks for them, with the lack of women professors they have throughout their degree, but I hope this changes soon!
