"I'll never be the voice of my favorite character!"
Well, yeah. The #voiceartist behind your favorite characters help make them your favorite characters. But one day you may be a new and shiny character that a someone looks up to, maybe even their favorite!

Dear #voiceactors,
Can one of you PLEASE reach out to the VA healthcare system and update/upgrade their MOH and IVR systems? We're begging you, for the sake of veterans everywhere.

Congratulations to the MANY games signed to our interim & tiered budget agreements! It’s a clear sign our efforts are working (we resumed negotiations 10/23). Now’s a great time to revisit what it’s gonna take to get a fair contract. One day longer, one day stronger, folks!🧵

⚠️ WE ARE STILL ON STRIKE.⚠️
🔹 Do not audition for a union project because the actor “stepped away from the role.” We didn’t step away. WE ARE STRIKING. Be on the right side of this thing.

#FACTS! You have to spend time trialing what may or may not work for YOU. Whether thats P2P (and all the varying sites), Direct Marketing, or Agents. Find what works for you.
Voiceover advice is like:
Person 1 (Pro w/6-figure income): "Don’t just churn out auditions. Analyze your script. Quality over quantity."
Person 2 (Pro w/6-figure income): "Don't spent forever on your auditions. Why submit 2 in an hour when you could submit 10?"

(Unofficial) Rule #1 of being a part of the VO community:
Be kind to your people. That’s literally it.
Feel like being a jerk? Have a snack, get un-cranky, and maybe assess why that is.
While everything else may be welcome, negativity is not. No one needs that energy here.
