Largely a quiet day for the Sumner offense, but '24 3B @WalkerNixon33 showcased hard contact throughout
Simple approach with little wasted movement. Hits ball where pitched

#uncommitted ‘24 OF Bradley Carl (@SumnerBaseball) is one of the top bats still available in the class
Natural feel for the barrel. Can create lag thru the zone and change plane to get to the ball. Gap to gap/doubles power. Goes down and gets 1 for extra bases here

"He has a command of every one of his pitches, in every count," said Curtis coach @brobbie31. "He isn’t just somebody that throws 92, 93, — he throws it with command, with conviction. He knows how to pitch, rather than just rear back and throw it by high school hitters."

Agree, turf doesn't guarantee anything. But it does provide OPPORTUNITY.
⚾️ on a field👍
⚾️ in a gym 👎
@psd401 it is time!
BACK AGAIN! The intersection of synthetic turf + on-field success in Oregon 6A Baseball @OSAAsports
❌Turf does not guarantee success
❌A lack of turf does not prevent success
✅But turf DOES provide opportunity, and schools should be in the business of increasing opportunity.
