Nashville mirrors his human by becoming excited. It does not take much to raise his mental energy. This causes him to have difficulty staying focused. He makes a few minor mistakes due to his mind becoming too busy. We move him to the Place Command to help him Calm His Mind.

Nashville is still experiencing some stress as we see with his panting. The Power of the Place Command!! He has improved so much! Now we will wait for him to totally relax. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers

Nash is becoming more confident with following his human !! And he is developing a calm mind. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers

Once we started Nashville's Off-Leash Training, he displayed more stress. That's OK! This is how he learns. He realized that his human is still attached and is still his Leader even when the Leash comes off. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers

After allowing Nashville to Calm his mind on the Place Command, we see a significant improvement in what he has learned in just 2 weeks. Nash knows his commands, it's just his over active mind keeps him from being able to focus peacefully. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever

When dogs, just like people, are learning new things in their lives, they develop stress. When this happens, we move our dogs to The Place Command. Once the mind becomes relaxed, the training goes smoother, the dog makes less mistakes. That builds Confidence! #sunkak9training

Nashville moved quickly into his Off-Leash Training! With repetitions & adding distractions we create confidence in Nash! #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers

Nashville is doing great with his Off-Leash Training! Yet, he made a choice! He decided to Blow Off his Human when told to "Come". With a Low Stem from the his E-Collar, He decided to happily make Good Choices! #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers

Once we enforce consistency in Nash's life, we see his body language become happier, and he begins to enjoy following his human. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers

Nash enjoys blowing off his handlers commands. So we are being consistent, and correcting him when he looks away from us This consistency will establish leadership. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever #GoldenRetrievers
