We're not in a position where we have to sell so assume he's not the kind of GK Elliot wants, or he fancies a new start for himself, or both. Fair enough - think he'll do alright and hopefully it's a good deal.
New number 1 will show where owners are at with budget intentions.
Given the current lack of attacking depth in the Carlisle squad, I've put together a few options who could potentially be added and strengthen the forward line.

2/ Terry Ablade
24-year-old now back in Finland with OLS.
Pace is his standout attribute and he can play centrally or attack the channels, giving a different option against sides defending with a high line.
One who could add some much-needed speed to the forward line.

3/ Tobi Sho-Silva
31-year-old forward who had spells with Kidderminster and Solihull Moors last season.
Experienced, with plenty of National League and EFL experience.
Could provide competition and cover for Kelly as a more traditional central striker.
