Node operators are voting on mainnet to deploy "Latent", the shielded pool for $MPC.
It's a community proposal and only goes live if they approve it: 21 of 30 committee nodes by Nov 11, 13:25 UTC. So far, 6 votes are yes, and 1 vote no.

Binance already uses MPC, but there is a distinction between using MPC to distribute wallet keys and using advanced MPC for confidential computation across an entire infrastructure.
@PartisiaMPC brings expertise in both areas, with over 20 years of cryptographic research behind its technology.
It can help Binance go further: securing signing operations, analysing sensitive employee and transaction activity without exposing underlying data, and strengthening fraud detection across systems.
MPC isn’t a replacement for endpoint security or access controls. It’s an additional cryptographic layer that can reduce single points of failure and limit the impact of compromised systems.
The opportunity is to move beyond protecting keys and towards protecting the wider infrastructure.
