I had a lovely visit to King George’s this week with our family help team. We played Santa! and delivered donated toys to children who’ll be in hospital over Christmas.
Great to meet the staff in paediatrics and @supporthospital team who helped make sure the toys were shared.
Our family help team joined Councillor Kam Rai, Leader of Redbridge Council, and Barbara Kasumu, Interim CEO of King George and Queens Hospitals Charity, at King George's, with presents for children in hospital at Christmas.

🎉 We’ve removed a ton of tonsils!
Our ‘TonKidz’ project treated 648 children in just three months — a backlog that would usually take two years.
Our teams even transformed our day surgery unit, making it child-friendly with a play area.
