Rosebuds 9/14 - School Club (1/6)

The Funny Pages comic strip exhibition at the Anderson Museum of Art ends this Saturday. There was a front-page newspaper article of the show and included the key art for the exhibition. This has created a full circle moment of curating a museum exhibit about the funny pages IN the funny pages. 🥹

The Rosebuds Sunday title panels are akin to a Simpson's couch gag in that I make them different every week. And like the couch gags, it'd be cool to have guest artists contribute one every once in a while. To start this new trend off, next Sunday's title panel features a VERY special guest artist.

Now we can see newspaper scans of the sunday title panels

Rosebuds is indeed in the funny pages ❤️

I love making comics

All the Rosebuds Sunday title panels so far. They've been really fun to do as an extra way to do random/semi-related illustrations since I don't have time to do them on my own.
