In August WSK handed out 1306 meals. September 1673 meals without the support from all the local supermarkets we simply could not feed so many in the community! All the food used was destined for landfill so we are not only feeding people with Surplus food but helping the planet

Really happy with our crate from @Surplus2Purpose. It’s great that we got all this food that would have gone to landfill and it will help towards reducing food waste. Looking forward to making lots of lemon sorbet 🙌 #sustainableliving #impact #makeadifference

Gardeners delight! 😂🤩
I love them so much- they're so handy for pots & you can grow things in them too!
And you're giving plastic second life!
I get mine from local Chinese takeaway, from Lidl (their spring onions are stored in them), garden centres and pubs 😊 #recycle ♻️

Keeping my packet basil leaves in water has produced a beautiful display of roots and also kept me in fresh basil for nearly 4 weeks 💫

I cannot stress enough the importance of not cutting back hedgerows at this time of year. This beauty of a #hedge was covered in #nature’s bounty this week, which will provide so much food for #wildlife over the coming months. Please spread the word👇🙏
