Wouldn’t it be lovely to live in a country again where politicians just did their job that they are paid to do & look after their citizens.
You could walk the streets in safety.
You speak to your neighbours, not always agree but respect their views.
Your children could go to school to learn & not be lectured on LBGTQRSTU ….DEI which nobody cares about.
Afford to heat your homes & feed your families without any worries.
And most of all just get on with your lives with no interference.
Wouldn’t it be great to get our old normal country back 🙏🙏

💔 IN MEMORY OF JESSE ADAMS — A TRUE HERO FOR ANIMALS 💔
It is with enormous sadness that we have learned of the tragic death of Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in Canada, who lost his life while carrying out an animal rescue mission in one of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
Jesse dedicated his life to saving animals, even when it meant putting his own life at risk.
We first came to know Jesse in 2021, when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. Jesse and RainCoast were among the extraordinary organisations that came together to assist KSAR with the evacuation of 285 cats and dogs, helping many find loving forever homes.
Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Jesse travelled to the border to help fleeing families and their pets, providing veterinary care, supplies and assistance getting animals to safety.
He returned repeatedly, undertaking increasingly dangerous missions.
Most recently, Jesse worked alongside Animal Rescue Kharkiv, rescuing hundreds of animals from devastated frontline communities under constant threat from drones, missiles and artillery.
These were extraordinary acts of compassion and courage in the face of unimaginable danger.
Jesse knew the risks. He knew every mission could be his last. Yet he continued because he believed animals caught in conflict deserved protection just as much as those living in peace.
Those of us working in animal rescue in conflict zones understand and accept these risks. But few possess the courage to repeatedly travel towards danger when everyone else is trying to escape it.
Jesse was one of those very special people.
His death is a devastating loss to his family, friends, RainCoast and the international animal rescue community.
Our hearts go out to everyone who knew and loved him, particularly the Ukrainian rescuers who worked alongside him.
His legacy lives on in every animal he saved and every rescuer he inspired.
Rest in peace, Jesse. The world has lost an extraordinary human being, and the animals have lost a true champion. 🐾💔
With love and deepest respect,
Louise and everyone at War Paws

🐾 ANIMALS IN WAR REMEMBRANCE SERVICE – 6 NOVEMBER 2026 🌺
Remembering the lives, the sacrifices and those who gave everything to save them.
Tomorrow, War Paws will be honoured to attend and speak at the Animals in War Remembrance Service, paying tribute to the countless animals who have served, suffered and lost their lives during war and conflict.
Throughout history, animals have played extraordinary roles in war. Horses, donkeys and mules carried soldiers and supplies, dogs detected explosives and searched for survivors, while pigeons carried vital messages. Their courage, loyalty and sacrifices must never be forgotten.
At War Paws, we have witnessed the suffering of animals affected by conflict firsthand through our work in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine and beyond.
🌺 This year, we will lay two wreaths, each carrying a very special meaning.
The first, on behalf of War Paws, will honour all animals who have served, suffered and lost their lives in war, and those who continue to suffer in conflict zones today.
The second will be laid on behalf of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in Canada, in loving memory of its founder, Jesse Adams, who tragically lost his life on 25 October 2026 whilst rescuing animals in Ukraine.
Jesse was a friend to War Paws and a courageous, compassionate man who dedicated his life to saving animals. We were privileged to work alongside him during the Kabul animal evacuation in 2021 and continued to follow his extraordinary work in Ukraine.
Laying a wreath in Jesse's memory will be deeply personal, honouring his courage, the work of RainCoast and all those who risk their lives to save animals trapped in war.
Remembrance is not only about those who served in war. It is also about those who suffered because of it, and those who refused to leave them behind.
🌺 Tomorrow, We Will Remember Them All. 🌺
🐾 For the animals. For the rescuers. For those who never came home.

🌺 WE WILL REMEMBER THEM 🌺
Today, we pause to remember the millions of animals who have served, suffered and lost their lives in wars and conflicts around the world.
We remember the horses, donkeys and mules who carried soldiers and supplies; the dogs who searched, guarded and comforted; the pigeons who carried vital messages—and every animal caught in the devastation of war.
They served without choice, asked for nothing and gave everything.
Today’s Animals in War Memorial Service, organised by Petplan Charitable Trust, will take place at the Animals in War Memorial in London.
War Paws will be represented by Frances Evans and Helen Yates, who will lay wreaths for War Paws and RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in remembrance of the animals affected by war. Fran will also deliver a short speech on behalf of War Paws, honouring those who served in past conflicts and those who continue to suffer in conflicts around the world today.
Brooke, Action for Working Horses and Donkeys, will livestream the service on its Facebook page from 11:00am until 11:30am today, Friday 6 November.

We encourage our War Paws family to watch, reflect and remember the animals of the past—as well as those who continue to serve, suffer and be affected by conflict today.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. 🕊️🐴🐕🐾

Thank you both for being there, for representing War Paws with such compassion and for ensuring that these animals—and their sacrifices—are never forgotten. 💜
Our sincere thanks also go to Petplan Charitable Trust for once again arranging such a beautiful and moving service, bringing people and organisations together to honour all the animals who have served, suffered and died because of war.
We would also like to thank Brooke, Action for Working Horses and Donkeys, for recording the event.

It's absolutely incredible that armed police are hunting a man reportedly seen carrying a large blade near a school in Gloucester this morning, yet no description of him appears to have been released.
A child has been injured. Armed officers are searching the area.
But the public haven't been told what this man looks like, how tall he is or what he's wearing.
How are people supposed to protect themselves or help police identify him?
If officers have a reliable description, the public should be given it.
