My Presidential choice for 2028.
Yes, I know this is controversial, but Iāve thought about this long and hard and see only one candidate that could hold the MAGA coalition together.
And last night proved how we need the MAGA coalition to stay together.
Also, I deliberately picked the timing for dropping this article for today. Letās not look back. Itās OK to do a post-mortem and learn the lessons, but donāt dwell on it.

Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment thatās created safer streets, more money in Americansā pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. Iām going to rip the bandaid off.
Trump has less than 2 months to make a serious impact. Thatās it.
He needs to fire his entire communications team. They are absolute failures.
He needs to fire half of his advisors- every single person who gave him bad advice and there are many.
He needs to finish the Iran war in spectacular fashion. We need to take Kharg Island and the Strait of Hormuz. Enough with dancing around it. Enough with the blockade. Take it.
He needs to cut off Ukraine and force them into a deal with Russia.
He needs to go into Cuba and free the Cuban people.
Doing those three things will bring down gas prices, which will bring down food prices.
He needs to ramp up deportations. Enough with the bullshit numbers. We need to triple the deportations, immediately.
He needs to order the DOJ to ramp up the investigations and indictments. Hire special counsels for Schiff and others so the investigations cannot be stopped by the democrats.
He needs to put JD Vance in the closet. The guy is worthless and nobody needs Vance and co leaking to Carlson or anyone else.
He needs to be himself and surround himself with people who will defend him and carry out his orders.

I feel a little mixed and selfish tonight because all politics are local, and my state of Florida is saved and we will flourish for years.

See, here's the thing. My daughter is not clairvoyant. She analyzes the date which is why she waited until early voting statistics started coming in before she could even make a call.
She didn't want to tell her X family that the situation did not look good because nobody wanted to hear it. She made a post alluding to it and received many negative comments.
She came up with the plan to tell her friend @realJeremyCarl so that our beloved X community could hold her accountable. Thank you, Jeremy.
She told me that we were in big trouble, and I was devastated. I told two of my trusted friends in confidence which they honored, @CynicalPublius and @JohnStrandUSA. We all hoped she was wrong.
Trust the data is my only takeaway. By that point, it was really too late for a remedy.
And although it seems like a cliche, the truth is that God has not lost control.
