One year ago today I posted a video titled 'Infecting Rust Players Bases', and while recording that video I met a guy named '1ArmBandit', a rust player who lost function of his arm due to a motorcycle accident. He seemed like a really nice guy, especially compared to the other rust players on this server so in hopes to make a difference in his life I asked him to make a gofundme (gofundme.com/f/help-get-my-a…) to raise money to hopefully give him his arm back. One year and 1.8 million views later, the gofundme has raised over $15,000 for 1ArmBandit, he posted an update on gofundme but since the fundraiser was deactivated on gofundme here's an update: According to 1ArmBandit, the $15,000 was able to pay for 3 stem cell treatments to try and make improvements with touch/pain in his arm. In his words, The three treatments were to make "improvement with touch/pain and the way my nerves been reacting to the tense unit I think that's how you spell it. Shoots electricity on my arm and make it jump. That wasn't doable before is very crazy and cool how the body works." I really do appreciate everyone who donated, it's kind of unbelievable to me that a 38 minute video could move 100s of people enough to donate, but this is the part of content creation that I love. I'm really glad that we were all able to make some sort of difference for him, so thank you ❤️
