An early Christmas present for you all:- The first print edition of Pints West since March 2020 is now out, so copies should be appearing at a pub near you soon.

Hang on. Are we back on being told not to go to the pub, but with no support being offered to the 100,000s of people that work pubs and the supply chain?

BREAKING NEWS: Punch Pub group bought by Fortress Investment Group for undisclosed sum. Punch owns 1,300 pubs, including 55 bought from Young's in July. Worrying when global giant buys company with retail outlets -- asset stripping would be bad for licensees and drinkers.

Hey @AerLingus! Nobody had reduced me to tears by being abusively rude since 2005 when I got CBT…but today your ground staff, flight EI385 HTR managed it! Is calling passengers ‘motherf*cker’ in your policy? If so the woman checking us in did a sterling job and deserves promotion

Yesterday I said goodnight to my daughter Hannah for the last time. Today I said good morning to my child Noah for the first time. They bear a striking resemblance. And have an equal disdain for their dad.

I intubate people suffering with Covid. They tell me they are afraid. They beg me to not let them die. They cry and so do I. Every. Single. Time.
Please get vaccinated. I'm so tired.

If this government wants state schools to be more like independent schools, they could do with funding them better. Latin’s brilliant, but smaller class sizes would be even nicer. And perhaps even, for September, some ventilation?

Tap Yard News:
Unfortunately, several members of staff have been pinged by the Covid app, so we are postponing the soft opening of the Tap Yard, which was planned for tomorrow (Friday 15 July). Please keep an eye out for updates...

PLS PLS SHARE: I’m looking for an angel. A nurse - probably called Dani, possibly from Oz. She v likely saved my bro-in-law’s life last Thurs morning when he had a stroke outside a coffee shop on Wigmore Street, Central London. We’d love to find her to thank her.

4 years left on the lease of my pub. I’ve now been left in the position I can’t afford to renew the lease and have 4 years to pay back a 50k loan forced on me to pay my rent. It’s going to be a hard 4 years with the threat of being closed every few months. #pubs – at Lower Halstow, England
