Lights, camera, THEME!! Today in Nava’s Nook, we used a Pixar short to identify theme and support our thinking with evidence! My students did an AMAZING job putting their thoughts into writing and explaining their answers! So proud of these growing readers!

Positive note going home for these two rockstars: showing acceptance and kindness to a new addition to our Nava’s Nook Family. So proud!

One minute they were my little boys, and now I’m watching them grow into young men. My mama heart is so proud, but I sure wish I could freeze time just a little longer.

Got to cheer on two of my students at the ballpark, and BOTH hit home runs! They may hit them out of the park on the field, but they hit home runs in our classroom every day, too. So proud of my boys! @HumbleISD_ACE

When the work feels heavy, sometimes you get the reminder you didn’t know you needed. Being affirmed by parents in two different ways this week reminded me why I love what I do. What a gift to know the love I pour into my students is felt beyond my classroom.
