I was writing long-form posts about depression, the trials of life, science, technology, and where humanity is headed.
Then X indefinitely suspended me for “inauthentic behavior.”
Maybe the town square isn’t as open as advertised.
The sound of a plane overhead can leak exactly where a video was filmed. Its pitch bends as it flies by, and that Doppler curve encodes how close it passed. YouTuber colsto simulated the curve for every spot on a 200 m grid using ADS-B flight logs, matched it to a recording, and ranked the true location first, within about 100 m, sometimes from under a minute of audio. Swipe through: the curve that gives it away, the flyover that makes it.
This deserves a Community Note. I’ve spent nearly a decade in space and science media, and I’m very familiar with these misleading edits. The Martian terrain comes from real rover imagery, but the sky has been digitally added. Presenting that composite as NASA’s view of the Martian night sky misrepresents what was actually captured. A beautiful edit is fine. Passing it off as an authentic observation isn’t. When did views become more important than accuracy?
Two new meteor showers just joined the sky calendar, and nobody knows what comets made them. Global Meteor Network cameras found M2026-S1 in Camelopardalis (109 meteors, peaks Aug 19, 54.3 km/s) and M2026-R1 in Cetus (49 meteors, peaks July 18, 63.5 km/s). Both ride retrograde Halley-type orbits, match no known comet, and are now on the IAU Working List. Study: emeteornews.net/2026/10/28/n… Swipe through: S1 on the sky map, R1 on its map.
The eerie eye of Super Typhoon Champi, the strongest tropical cyclone recorded so far this year, in false colour from Copernicus Sentinel-3. The colours are temperatures: white and green cloud tops as cold as -70°C circle a 50 km eye, over warm orange seas.
378 days on 'Mars' are over. On Oct. 31, NASA's CHAPEA Mission 2 crew walked out of Mars Dune Alpha, the 3D-printed habitat in Houston they had not left since Oct. 19, 2025. Ross Elder, Ellen Ellis, James Spicer and Matthew Montgomery lived with comm delays up to 22 minutes, rationed supplies and simulated Marswalks. NASA: nasa.gov/humans-in-space/cha… Swipe through: the crew at the airlock door, suiting up for a Marswalk, and the crops that helped feed them.

Bro you could literally use your influence to join the trenches and send multiple coins to multi millions and ignite a mini bull run but you’ll spend the rest of your life hoping to flip the stock market with spx
I gotta find me a wife who wants to live out the next 509 years with me exploring the cosmos and we’ll have a picnic overseeing the rings of Saturn
this might be my last normal tweet before biotech goes vertical
i'm not a whistleblower. I don't work at Lilly, Novo or any of the big labs
but there is a massive shift happening in human biology right now.
it's sitting in press releases and almost nobody reads them
the last 6 months alone:
- a once-daily pill roughly doubled median survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer (13.2 vs 6.6 months)
- a one-time gene editing infusion cut hereditary angioedema attacks 87%, and 62% of patients stayed attack-free and off all other prevention for 6 months
- a one-time gene edit for cholesterol dropped LDL up to 62%, and it held for over a year
- a personalized mrna vaccine beat keytruda alone in a 1,137 patient melanoma phase 3
- retatrutide hit ~28% weight loss in a phase 3
- an ai-designed drug entered phase 3
- a pill that regrows hair passed its second phase 3
- an immunotherapy that could let some rectal cancer patients skip surgery, chemo and radiation just got fda approved
- a man lived 271 days off dialysis on a pig kidney
- human cells were caught passing chromosome-sized chunks of DNA to their neighbors, and it changes how the neighbors behave
we are on the verge of an era where the human body is a software problem and the update cycle gets shorter everyday
stick around, it's going to get weird

Still silenced. Interestingly, from my perspective in spacetime, @X is the pinnacle of free speech limitation.
Fall color from space, at peak red. This is Landsat 9 over Ripton, Vermont on Oct 3, forests burning crimson at peak redness. NASA's PACE satellite now tracks that red pigment, anthocyanin, across the whole planet every day or two, so leaf-peeping season can be mapped from orbit.

Still silenced. @X
They’ve silenced the entirety of my replies YET AGAIN. Just TWO DAYS after I finally regained the ability to participate.
It was fun while it lasted, friends.
The irony of being repeatedly silenced on the platform that was supposed to revolutionize free speech is genuinely unbelievable.
And the worst part? I don’t even think @elonmusk realizes this is happening to ordinary creators.
You cannot build a global town square while systematically alienating the very people trying to contribute to it. Free speech means very little when your ability to participate can disappear overnight without explanation.
What an absolute fucking travesty X.
The Ghosts of Cassiopeia, plus three new ones. 100 hours of observing through a special oxygen filter revealed three faint new nebulas, blue phantoms of ionized oxygen, hiding near gamma Cassiopeia. Nobody yet knows what ionized them. Image: Leroux-Géré, Rouillée, Martin, de Decker (Starfront Observatories) science.nasa.gov/image-artic…

Imagine spending 3+ years building a space/science page on this platform, reaching 5,000 followers, and creating an archive of work you care about. Then your account gets suspended, and you’re left without a specific explanation of what you did wrong.
That happened to me.
My account was @HardwireMedia. I posted science and space content, wrote my own replies, and spent years participating in tens of thousands of conversations. X cited its “Authenticity” policy. I appealed, but I still haven’t received the specific explanation or meaningful resolution I’ve been asking for.
I’m now trying to build again on Symplectic. But again multiple times, I've been blocked from replying to ANYONE for a week or more. I’ve also experienced drops in reach that I can’t get a clear explanation for. I don’t know what triggers these restrictions, and that uncertainty is part of the problem.
When @Grok tells me X doesn’t shadowban, that doesn’t resolve my experience. Calling something “reply filtering” doesn’t answer the questions creators actually have: Are my replies being hidden? Why? What did I do wrong, and how can I challenge that decision?
I pay for Premium, and I still haven’t been able to get the human support I need to resolve this.
I’m not asking for guaranteed views or immunity from moderation. I’m asking to be shown the conduct that supposedly violated a rule and given a meaningful opportunity to respond.
Being a creator is already unstable. When years of work and audience relationships can become inaccessible with no clear path to resolution, it becomes much harder to justify investing another three years.
Established public figures can bring an audience with them. Emerging creators are trying to build one here. If our accounts and ability to participate remain this uncertain, how are we supposed to grow?
I want X to live up to its promise of free speech. A platform that presents itself as the global town square should offer transparent enforcement and accessible appeals, including for people who aren’t already famous.
Behind a small account is still a real person, real work, and years they cannot get back. And this is my story..

NASA just flew its Titan helicopter for the first time, on a computer in Maryland. Dragonfly's fullest 'first flight' rehearsal ran on flight-like avionics: separate from the backshell, scan the dunes with cameras, lidar and inertial sensors, pick a safe spot, and touch down. Launch no earlier than 2028, Titan arrival 2034. science.nasa.gov/blogs/drago… Swipe: the flight, from below, the touchdown.
