Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan want to de-escalate with Iran under the Mecca Pact framework.
All three are US allies, and Turkey is a NATO member.
I believe the U.S. is trying to bring Iran into a new regional order controlled by its allies, after failing to force Tehran into submission militarily.
Is the United States attempting to contain Iran by means of the Mecca Pact following the failure of its military campaign?

If Saudi Arabia wants to ease tensions with Yemen, it should talk directly to Ansar Allah.
Not plead with Tehran to “control” them. And definitely not keep believing its own propaganda that Ansar Allah is an Iranian proxy.
Riyadh needs to deal with Yemen as Yemen.
If Saudi Arabia intends to de-escalate tensions with Yemen, a viable solution would be to engage in direct dialogue with Ansar Allah.
