I’m sure nothing bad will come from centralizing all your calendars in Notion, along with all your notes, documents, and databases
Surely there is no risk inherent in such a scheme and no possible way this could end badly for anyone

I love Notion but I don't obsess over it. Or any other tool in fact.
I see tools as enablers, not solutions.
If you let a tool decide the solution, maybe you're missing out on the best solution.
Thoughts?

Having time to live life on your terms is truly a blessing that is worth a lot of compromises.
I've learnt it slowly over the years and recently reframed my ambitions accordingly.
Nothing really matters if you can't live the way you want to.

Someone recently tried to convince me to leave the world of marketing, startups, and building products for a "more reputed" role at an MNC.
They don't know the game I'm playing 😁

Key to NOT QUITTING ➡️
Reflect on your win moments.
Moments when you felt proud of yourself.
Moments when you accomplished something difficult.
Moments when others appreciated your contribution.
Next take that small action you need to, then mark it as a win moment as well.

The Notion Community has officially committed one of the cardinal sins of business:
Competing on price.
Don't you see it?
We're all offering free this and free that...
Charging $5 for a VALUABLE template.
This is what happens when you're only goal is to underprice your competition.
So what now?
Now it's time to:
- Compete on value
- Stand OUT from the crowd
- Focus on branding, not blending in
There's only ONE way for our community to actually command financial value again...
To ASK FOR IT.
You ask for it by overcoming sales objections.
You ask for it by building great landing pages.
You ask for it by charging what it's worth.
You ask for it by building a real brand.
Otherwise everything will just be "free, free, free" and no one will be able to make MONEY off their hard work.
And one final thing...
If you're a Notion creator out here and YOU'RE not willing to pay real money for anyone's templates, you're part of the problem.
Charge money for valuable work.
Pay money for valuable work.
That's all.
I'm out.
