Owner of Lium subnet comments on his experience with SayGM subnet (big thumbs up). Subnet stacking FTW. Both powered by Bittensor.
Replying to @fish_datura
@fish_datura 's review of @say_gm_ is quite insane when you think about it, $1000 worth of usage so far by the top subnet owner. Also, $1000 worth of inference... is a lot, I wonder what he's cookin. I just wish there was more glm5.3-flash-tee availability Bittensor is crazy

SN92 is tightening up emissions 👀 From Oct 30, inference drops from 50% to 40% of the miner reward budget, with 10% of that budget burned. Pay for real demand. Keep funding real progress. Thats a move I like. ( @reaxlabs @decisionmodels_ @airesearch12 ) bittensor:native

Thinking out loud here.. I've always assumed a #Bittensor subnet would struggle to replicate what $TIG is building But the more I think about it.. the more I'm not sure $TIG has its own Optimisable Proof of Work system.. where algorithms compete, benchmarkers test them, and then innovators get rewarded based on adoption $TAO obviously works differently.. with miners, validators and Yuma Consensus deciding how rewards get distributed But.. Given how flexible #Bittensor subnets can be.. whats actually stopping someone from building a subnet with its own version of $TIG's benchmarking, verification and reward system? Could someone essentially recreate something similar to OPoW inside #Bittensor? Someone like @Apex_SN1, for example.. Obviously.. just because something is technically possible doesn't mean it would economically work Still questions around incentives.. verification.. licensing.. how rewards are distributed.. and whether it would all work properly at scale And maybe $TIG does have some very real advantages from being built specifically for algorithmic discovery But.. does that mean theres something fundamental about $TIG's architecture that would make it incredibly difficult for a #Bittensor subnet to replicate? Or.. does it basically come down to who designs the better system and executes it properly? I can already see the replies coming.. lol I'm not trying to FUD anything here.. I'm obviously heavily interested in both $TAO and $TIG I just think its a genuinely interesting question worth exploring.. Because the more I think about this stuff.. The less convinced I am that its as simple as $TIG = algorithms and $TAO = intelligence My dumb monkey brain does not know the actual answer.. So happy to be educated 👍

The 10 s rule I announced on Wednesday is live in JevBench v1.7. Chon-1.0-12B: with its current serving recipe, 540 of 1,500 decisions take longer than 10 s; those count as wrong. A faster variant is being measured. Most top-10 moves are new models. xitter.cf/airesearch12/status/21…
New #1 among open models on JevBench: Chon-1.0-12B by Ninh Nguyen. Capability 85.3, ahead of a 31B at 82.5. Impressive for 12B💪 BUT: when unsure it thinks, its slowest 5% of decisions take ~33s. Thus upcoming new rule: decisions >10s count as failed. benchmarkheaven.com/jev-mode…

10 to 100 TAO Challenge update 🔥 Portfolio holding STRONG on @mentatminds! Still up 18% despite the market volatility. Biggest winners so far: 🔥 Engy SN53 +164.55% 🔥 Lium SN51 +119.91% 🔥 SayGM SN28 +68.09% Not every position is green, but the overall strategy is working. Conviction. Patience. Staking. Playing the long game with $TAO.

Bittensor’s 18/41/41 emission split has never had an exception. eTAO and Gamma would change that, but neither addresses the “too much liquidity” problem. Only permissionless lending targets it. Here are my thoughts.

Something about @SOLTENSOR just doesn't sit right with me. My gut is screaming red flags. I've seen enough in crypto to know when something feels off, and this one definitely does. Not calling it a scam, but I wouldn't trust it with my money. Just my opinion. Be careful. bittensor:native

One of the largest miners on @lium_io sells every single day. 12,947 SN51 alpha turned into 1,303 $TAO over the last 30 days. That is how most miners cover their costs: selling every alpha they get. But there is another way to pay the bills. Post the alpha as collateral on Mentat Lend and borrow $TAO against it, up to 60% of its value. The alpha stays staked and keeps earning emissions. The bills get paid without selling the position. And SN51 has performed well in recent months. The debt is set in TAO, so each alpha now covers more of it than it did a few months ago. Selling is no longer the only option. Miners, subnet owners and builders can stop betting against themselves.

Stitch3 has me at #69 of 799 Bittensor voices on Twitter. Top 15%, apparently. I started talking about Bittensor in May of this year, which is short relative to some voices in the ecosystem. But a ranking like that typically measures output. How much someone posts about subnets, and how far it travels. What it can't tell you is whether any of it was right. Those are different claims, and I'd rather keep them apart than take the number as a verdict on something. So if the number is worth anything, it's as an index. Here's what you can actually check instead. · The Actual (SN95 - @actualinc) article rests on things anyone can verify for themselves. What the subnet was collecting in emissions, whether anything was locked in conviction, and where mining stands. I didn't need you to trust me on any of it, it's all on-chain. · The Carbon (SN116 - @carbonphysicsai) article went up before Carbon had a subnet number. With no subnet slot yet, there was no hype to lean on, only the results, the team’s track record, and the mechanism. · OpenRoboto (SN80 - @openroboto) was the one where I interviewed the team. The value was in the team’s operating model, not in my opinion of it. Those are just a few of the things I've written about in Bittensor. I've talked about other SNs, as well as the protocol's mechanisms, governance, and updates. What none of the popularity metrics prove is that I'm right about what happens next. What the work does show is how I reached my conclusions. I like to be transparent about how I got to where I am, in terms of conviction and belief. You can disagree with every conclusion I've drawn and still check the sources I used, or what path I went down to find what I did. And that's exactly how I prefer things. So if you want to know whether a "voice" ranking means anything, don't just count the posts or how "connected" someone seems. Go ahead and actually check my work. My goal is super simple; to learn as much as I can about Bittensor. The more I know, the more I can share with everyone else. Both within the ecosystem, and outside it. Underneath everything is a principle I care about: "freedom," especially around information and knowledge. I want decentralized AI to succeed. I care about the idea more than any single subnet, group of subnets, or team. And that's why I do what I do.
