One of the greatest privileges in ministry for me personally is being a part of such a great church network. Love these guys immensely. Their love for Christ and his church is always such a gift to me. @TCT_Net

Not all preachers are pastors and not all pastors are preachers.
It’s helpful not to confuse the two. A man is not pastoring you merely because he preaches to you every Sunday (though preaching is necessary to pastoring). A man may never preach but be a wonderful pastor to you.

Home = God’s people gathered together in God’s presence to worship God according to His word. In Christ we are sojourners on our way home and as we gather together to worship him we get to enjoy a foretaste of our future home. #gospel #community #mission

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite. - Isaiah 57:15

The link between the OT festivals and rest is clear (Lev 23): the worshipper is to rest from work so as to be reminded of the work of God on their behalf. The link between our remembrance and rest is clear: hard to gaze intently upon something when we are constantly in motion.

Dear @TCT_Net Pastors,
Christ’s declarative and ongoing “It is Finished” applies to your post-preaching doubts. Rest and rejoice that His Word doesn’t return void or empty (Isa. 55:10-13). The Spirit gives your faithful preaching the wings to fly.
