understanding how NFP differs from contraception is an iq gate and I’m tired of pretending it isn’t
Because NFP is Catholic contraception. It’s funny that some think Humanae Vitae was issued to condemn contraception. It was issued to permit contraception just using certain means. Precisely because the modernists knew the “nuances” would fool everyone. It clearly worked.

“Infidelity is immoral, unless government officials sign off on it first. Then it’s totally ok.” Modern people are so unserious.
Replying to @realspeckzo
Maybe that’s it’s me, but that’s not an excuse to cheat in your wife. If you’ve lost interest in her, or the marriage is failing, just get a divorce and go be with the girl you want to be with. Better yet, go jerk off if it’s that much of a problem for you. Usually Im positive on a lot of things, but if you cheat on your husband or wife and your only excuse is “oh they wouldn’t sleep with me” you’re a shallow piece of shit who deserves to die alone. End of story.

I’m seeing modern women being like “Wow! What an amazing man! Why can’t I find a man like that? Ugh, men!” Ummm… this was the norm before women demanded “equality!” lol The fact this is even news is hilarious… “exclusive”

Women make 80% of the purchasing decisions. What do you call it when someone makes 100% of the money, but only gets to spends 20% of it?
Women are PAID to work for their employers. What is one word for unpaid work? Yup, slavery.

These people want you to believe house wives are sleeping out in the shack with the slaves and working on the plantation, instead of out shopping all day.

So if obeying your husband had the same rules and limitations as an employer, would feminists be ok with that? Of course not. The idea of obeying/submitting their husband in itself is repugnant to them. And it’s very convenient for these billion dollar companies.
Yes selling your labour to a capitalist is actually more free than selling it to your husband for a variety of reasons. But if you only ever read theological crap then you wouldn’t know any better would you

It’s funny, the same people who hate Elon Musk (not talking about D specifically here) would find it more pro-women to submit to him than to submit to their husband. Have you guys ever considered you’re being played for suckers by billionaires?

Yes, it's about how you make her feel, not what you say. It ultimately comes down to whether you make her feel like "the one" would make her feel.
Have people lost the art of conversation? You don't ask like some survey question! You talk about a specific teaching you're thinking about and talk about what you think of it and ask the other person what they think. Converse. Pry into each other's minds a bit. Learn together. This is supposed to be pleasant.

Harder to do if you're short, ugly, and poorly dressed, but I don't want to be a doomer about it. There are things you can do.

The source, btw: "Asking these questions in the early stages of dating signals to the other person that you care more about finding a certain type of woman than getting to know this woman. It can make a person feel used. This is true for both sides." catholicpat.com/p/young-men-…

whatever you do don’t take dating advice from Catholic influencers
You don't marry a list of qualities, you marry a person. So if the woman you're talking to feels like you're screening her, she's going to feel used.

Catholic women: "if we're just dating why should I be expected to submit to him?" "so you'll submit when you're married right"? Catholic women: "it doesn't matter if I do, he's not supposed to tell me to!"

Divorcing your husband because you think you can "do better" is one of the fastest ways to ruin your life If a woman gets divorced, there is a 48% chance she will NOT remarry Alex Cooper remains undefeated for giving women the most toxic, life-destroying advice imaginable
"Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper & actress Sophia Bush: if a woman is questioning whether she can do better than her current husband, "the answer is always yes." "This idea that it's too late or you're too old, or who are you to want more, that's patriarchy. That is crazy."

No, the reason is because of contraceptives. If you didn't have contraceptives and abortion during your "long term relationships," then you would have children by now. The cost of living is, in part, a direct consequence of the ability contraceptives give to delay having kids.
They think everything is this red pill story and it’s just not …

It's a vicious cycle where women decide to wait longer to have kids so they can afford a home, so the standards of living go up so they have to wait even longer to buy a home. This is not to say that the cost of living isn't ridiculous, but these people already live somewhere.

They just don't live in their idealized home that they believe they need to have kids. Again, people lived in homes like these for thousands of years with kids.
