Police presence matters. As we welcomed a new class of police officers yesterday, I reminded them that it is now their privilege and responsibility to protect our communities and build trust through every interaction.
Thank you for answering the call. You will make a difference.

On the 45th Anniversary of Operation Soap…I remember. I have spent much of my professional career trying to help colleagues better understand our community & furthering the relationship between police and community. I vow to continue doing so.
Nice to finally see justice served for my friend Peter.

9 yrs of working with @RyanTaerk @JoshTaerk & family has resulted in thousands of Thanksgiving meals being delivered to those in need. Thx to @LongosMarkets for partnering with us this year. People like Ryan quietly working in the background to make a difference make me thankful!
Happy to be at the flag raising ceremony at my old Division today. A tradition at the @TorontoPolice that began at 51 is now widespread including at headquarters. A deeply meaningful moment of remembrance for us and the community.
Amazing story! I get to work with some great colleagues.

Thank you to Barb Piatkowski and Michelle Douglas for bravely sharing your stories and shedding light on the ongoing impacts of the LGBT Purge. Your voices remind us of the importance of listening, learning, and standing together.
