A screenplay tells me who you are just as much as who your characters are. I can tell what your intentions are – like whether you're in it to make a quick buck. I can tell if you've lived a life. Fell in love, been in a relationship, had your heart broken. I can tell if you know the people and the world you're writing about or you're just going off what you've seen in other movies. And I can tell what your values are. What you think is important. How you define a hero or a villain. I'm not judging anybody. I'm only judging the work. And maybe this mental picture I have of you is all wrong, but I don't think so. The best writing tells the truth even if most fiction is a made-up lie. And the one thing your writing can't hide is you.
It’s such a perfect summation of Attack on Titan.
The mystery of what the Titans are and want, the constant strategizing mankind has to do to defeat them, the intense visuals and score, the conflicts of whether to trust others or your own judgment. It’s all right here.

I hate new age horror fans. You can't have titties or sex in your horror movies, you can't dress up or in anyway market a horror monster who happens to be a victim, you can't like body horror. Just please get a grip or stop watching horror
Life, Mo Better Blues, Shaft, Paid in Full, Juice, Poetic Justice, Boomerang, Rosewood, Soul Food, Baby Boy, Love and Basketball, Higher Learning, Do The Right Thing
Is there a way to campaign for The Last Photograph to get released?
I like REALLY want to watch this movie.
Really wish this was reinforced by the movie’s tone and the way the characters interact or discuss the Kaiju/Titans.
All of the ironic humor really ruins the vibe.

Literally watch any Kurosawa or Spielberg or Edward Yang or Altman or Coppola or Kubrick or Soderbergh or Jacques Tati and so on. Standards are truly in hell.

This is the Monsterverse. Let’s be honest w/ ourselves now.
Now seeing posts saying Clayface is the most experimental CBM and that it’s better than Obsession.
Can’t make this up.
Also, I have now seen Clayface. It ain’t all that unfortunately. Would’ve loved to be blown away by a movie like that tho but it’s just so safe and mediocre.

I don't care about the hypothetical financial success of a shared universe designed to leverage Skydance out of its massive hole of debt.
I care about whether the movies are good. I'm not tossing away Matt Reeves' "The Batman" to shove fan service in a mediocre "Clayface" film.
Currently watching the new Carrie show.
So far really digging how every character ties into and mirrors the same theme of the cyclical nature of how people look for scapegoats for their pain and anger. It builds on itself like an infection through the whole town.
DCU fans just straight up attack and dogpile on anyone who doesn’t like the newest thing. Kid Cudi, Heavy Spoilers, this Amy person. Best case is they just bully you but the worst is that they send you death threats.
At what point do we call this out for what it is?
