We will never forget.

HANOVER STRONG! @ATLRaiderNation's Computer Science Honor Society recently won several @NCWIT Awards for Aspirations in Computing. We met Hayley and Meredith along with their teacher Mrs. Eileen Malick to find out just what makes them such strong contenders. #HanoverStrong

HCPS will be CLOSED on MON., FEB. 15. EMPLOYEES CODE 2. In honor of President’s Day, here’s one for all you Hamilton fans out there. By order and decree, King George declares today a snow day for all his favorite subjects (especially math, lunch, and study hall).

Today we celebrate and honor Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life and legacy. Our schools and offices are closed, but we will still learn from his words: “The time is always right to do what is right.” #InspireEmpowerLead #StrongerTogether

We will communicate any additional closings or delays that may be necessary as quickly as possible so you can begin making the necessary arrangements for your student.

This is likely to cause icy road conditions, making travel hazardous. Please note, a two-hour delay is intended to allow HCPS staff additional time to further assess conditions and make a final determination on whether or not to open the school division.

2 HR DELAY for STUDENTS and ALL STAFF: We are continuing to monitor weather and road conditions closely. Snow is expected to impact Hanover County later this morning, and up to two inches of snow is forecasted in some areas.

STUFFED! Culinary students at The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology are preparing for the holidays, making cornbread stuffing, braised chicken, banana pudding, and lemon meringue pie today! The scents sure did make us excited for Thursday. #InspireEmpowerLead

We are thankful for our veterans every day, but especially today. The U.S. is the land of the free because of the brave. Thank you, veterans, for your service and commitment to this great country. Happy Veterans Day! #InspireEmpowerLead #VeteransDay
