Hundreds of buildings in Poplar and Limehouse are still waiting for remediation works to start.
So many residents have seen nothing but delays, disputes, and dragged heels.
The fatal fire at Neutron Tower is a tragic reminder of just how unacceptable this is.

Our Head of Campaigns, Tom Griffiths, spoke powerfully at tonight's pre-budget anti-austerity rally in London.
Tomorrow's statement MUST commit more funds to our NHS. Up to 554 people are dying avoidably every single week.
No more austerity!

Thames Water spent £2bn on fees in 18 months to stay private. Now it's asking its creditors for £2.4bn more. But it's customers who will pay the price via their water bills.
If the deal goes ahead the average Thames Water bill will have risen from £488 to £672 while Labour has been in government.

Private equity has no place in public healthcare. We want to stop it. 🚨
We’ve set out 4 urgent demands for your MP to bring to Health Secretary Yvette Cooper to stop private equity profiting off NHS waiting lists.

The Health Secretary is welcome to tell us which patients we should send home earlier.
She can come on my ward round any time.
@YvetteCooperMP
Doctors should consider sending more hospital patients home earlier to relieve pressures on the NHS over winter, the Health Secretary has said.

Healthcare funding belongs on the frontlines, not in private equity pockets.

Today in 1936, the British Union of Fascists led by Oswald Mosely tried to march through the largely Jewish East End of London.
They were met with around 20,000 people — Jewish, Irish & working-class — in what is now known as the Battle of Cable Street.

I’ve seen people on here falsely claiming Jewish groups were banned from the official Cable Street March in London today.
It’s utter nonsense of course, and here’s the Great Yiddish Parade band. 👇

So many Jews at the Battle of Cable Street spoke about their experiences.
Many were internationalists who stood in solidarity with people across borders.

Hello Lord Watson of Palantir. Here are some more "inadmissible facts" you have conveniently ignored.
According to NHS England itself, on precisely the figures you quote:
“We cannot therefore draw conclusions about cause and effect as other variables have not been controlled for.”
NHS England confirmed that these figures do NOT provide causal evidence that your employer's software created the improvements you’re claiming
england.nhs.uk/digitaltechno…
In July, the statistics regulator warned that NHS England would need to "include clear information about causality" in relation to these figures. Another inadmissible fact
osr.statisticsauthority.gov.…
When the Health Foundation compared hospitals using Palantir’s discharge tool OPTICA with those that were not, its findings went against your purported figures. They "found no meaningful difference in delayed discharge performance in trusts that have adopted OPTICA compared to those that have not...
We found no noticeable improvement in discharge performance among trusts using OPTICA."
Worse, they also "found a marked deterioration in performance at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust after the adoption of OPTICA."
osr.statisticsauthority.gov.…
Days into your new role, and already publishing disinformation.
Later today protesters will demand ‘No Palantir in our NHS’
While they protest, someone, somewhere will get an operation scheduled earlier, a cancer diagnosis quicker, a loved one home from hospital sooner - thanks to the software that those protesters would switch off.
Here is what you won’t hear. Trusts using the software have recorded:
• 117,000 additional operations
• 14.3 per cent reduction in discharge delays for long stay patients
• 5.6 per cent improvement in the number of people receiving a cancer diagnosis within 28 days
As a more articulate person once said: ‘certain facts, although in a sense known to be true, are inadmissible.’

Palantir not welcome here!
Get Palantir out of our NHS now.

The patients & staff protesting across the country today know that a company like Palantir should have no place in our NHS.
They have a moral compass - unlike @tom_watson, who is being paid to repeat *debunked* claims about the benefits of Palantir's software. Embarrassing! 🤡

Protest over @Palantir, lunchtime today, Homerton Hospital - pressure from staff unions and local groups has already pushed the hospital to reject Palantir.
Protest this evening outside Palantir's HQ in Soho Square at 6pm to get them kicked out of the NHS altogether
