When you read things like this, you realize how grievously and how often we lose sight of the most basic realities of the Faith.

18 months. Born on farm. Forage
and milk. Yellow fat. Fat so delicious it melts in the pan. No off flavors from grass only.
850ish pounds live weight.
About $0 to raise.
I want to be on the side of the story that helps get cattle back onto fields across the country. Small herds, lots of herds, healthy herds, strong and resilient communities.
Iβm going to say the age here tomorrow - and itβs going to defy what most
People understand grass finished beef and timelines to be.
We are going to sell some
Of this but itβs going to take us time to build the herd to supply it at the demand I believe it will warrant.
This is truly sustainable, profitable, delicious, grass fed only beef with marbling and flavor you would expect from some of the most expensive and genetic intensive breeding programs anywhere - internationally.
For years we have been raising beef but we have not sold any nationwide, only local.
I think weβve struck βgoldβ but I need to reveal this appropriately with temperance so we can build this properly.
If this interests you, please join my email list. There will be opportunities and not just to buy.

Great article by Father Hart on a recent speaking event in Arkansas. If you are interested in having me come to your parish for an event please get in touch.

Great past two days. A good response to my talk from rural Arkansas, filled the event hall. People are hungry for Catholic social theory and action.

βThe milk cow is the saint of the barnyard.β
Our Jersey Bull arrives today. He will be added to our herd of two Jerseys cows. We greatly look forward to raising many family milk cows in the future- cows that can easily integrate with families and be a blessing to them. Many good things to come

Southern New Jersey: All Hallows Eve Celebration
The Southern New Jersey chapter of the Catholic Land Movement is holding its kickoff! Join us for an All Hallows Eve fire pit party on Saturday, October 31, at the Saint Hildegard Mission House, 1105 Tuckahoe Rd, Milmay, NJ, as we celebrate the holy saints.
The Mission House is still a work in progress and doesnβt have a kitchen yet, so weβre ordering pizza. Feel free to bring treats and your favorite drinks to share, and please RSVP so we know how many pizzas to order.
RSVP to Nicole at [email protected] or call/text 856-524-9800.

This is the Catholic Land Movement in action: working with our hands, making good use of what we have, and serving those around us.
There is dignity in labor.
There is reward in doing the hard things.
Our sweat has meaning, and through charity, we are building REAL community.

Had a memorable visit with the young men of Saint Martinβs academy in Kansas. Gave a talk on Catholic Social teaching & @CatholicLand, shared a meal, lost two games of chess and enjoyed the good cheer. A great group of young men.

Catholic author Jenny duBay picked up a used book on eBay: dust jacket torn, a little handwriting inside the cover. It turns out that the writing is a dedication from Fr. Vincent McNabb to his niece, one of the great voices behind the cause of the Catholic Land Movement.
Thank you, Jenny, for sharing it with us!

Spent the last few weeks in the central Midwest, Indiana, Missouri, and rural Illinois. Beautiful people. Now Iβm in Wisconsin and I immediately feel comfortable and at home in a way I didnβt in the previous places. Thereβs something about Northern blood. Iβm a man of the north.

In many ordinary places, there is an extraordinary movement of things. The mind, hearts and work of so many are harmonized. I feel like Iβm witnessing this incredible, beautiful thing that I fail so terribly at communicating to a larger witness.
There are so many working in harmony, turning the land, carrying their brothers, and moving towards God. If we could just all see one another at once the strengthening of resolve would be a catalyst that would change social order profoundly.
To all those working the integration of land, community and God. You are not alone. Be bold and courageous. Grow in Faith, Hope and Charity. We already won. We just have to see it, connect, and persist.
