If you can’t stomach a dip, you don’t deserve the rip. Stop dreaming about gains you aren’t willing to hold for. Bought more $ORE

Last 24 hours have been intense. I was holding no leverage, not trading any perps so avoided any drawdown due to any liquidations. THANKFULLY. I do feel heavily for those who got rinsed as a majority of their portfolios evaporated in minutes. No worse feeling. I have no magic words that will make you feel better, but one thing I can EMPHASIZE is that if you were able to run up a huge $$ number previously, you 100% have the skills to do it again. You got caught offsides here. It happens. Take a little time to clear your mind, process all the emotions and put this event behind you mentally. The money is gone. It may take you 1 day, a week or more. You have to mentally accept that money you had no longer exists. Then sit down, dial in, get focused and RUN IT BACK!

Kamino gud
Despite the unprecedented price action, we’re happy to confirm that Kamino users incurred a total of $0 bad debt, and that the liquidation engine performed exactly as expected. Kamino’s risk and liquidation systems are designed to weather the worst. Though it’s a silver lining amongst the pain, we’re proud that Kamino was able, and continues to keep users safe. In-depth liquidation report to follow. Stay safe, degens.

Here we go again, another two weeks of BNB shitters promising the “promised land” while you get wrecked for the fifth time in a row. Y’all can keep BNB. Last time I touched that chain, I lost more money than I ever have down $10M back in 2021. You're late enjoy the shitshow.

Money is a funny thing. When you start working and have no money all you can think about is how you'd retire if you had enough money. But when you make money and retire, all you can think about is how good life used to be when you had a purpose Big irony

when you make a lot of money quickly (and instead of letting that position ride you take profits on it) your first instinct is to start buying size in other things, size that maybe you’ve never traded before or taking trades you wouldn’t have it if weren’t for this added liquidity you now have you think you’re a genius for crushing this trade, but then the market turns a bit and your pnl swings make you want to vomit or maybe you start chasing after a port ath from a few days earlier - don’t do this if you’ve made life changing money, change your life. continuing to risk capital that can materially alter you irl is so retarded. go buy some index funds, maybe a new house, give some to your kids or parents or whatever, even buy BTC. you ran it up once from a smaller amount, you can probably do it again. this is a game of survival and when you’ve taken enough chips off the table to live a good life, your ability to trade in this space only gets better good luck out there

Phantom is not at risk. We have confirmed Phantom does not use any vulnerable versions of the affected packages. We take a number of steps to guard against these types of attacks, including: - Strict version pinning for all dependencies, preventing automatic updates to potentially compromised packages - Mandatory security reviews for all package upgrades before integration - Multi-layered dependency scanning and vulnerability monitoring - Isolated build environments with integrity verification We take the security of our users and their funds extremely seriously and will continue investing in our security practices to keep them safe against evolving threats like this one. nitter.gq/P3b7_/status/196509484…

there’s a clear gap in the market: advising on capital management for people who’ve made it in crypto and are ready to go risk-off the skillset required to make a few million in crypto is very different from the one required to invest in yield-bearing assets, generate sustainable income, and remove the need to work it’s a bit like the lawyers who specialise in lotto winners, showing them how to live tax efficiently, invest correctly, and preserve wealth etc especially in a top or post-bull market, many have enough liquidity to retire comfortably. but without an understanding of more conservative markets, they leave capital in accessible wallets and often gamble it away. CT’s idea of 'retirement' is broken, it assumes infinite spending and zero yield on capital as someone now learning about more conservative capital allocation, it’s obvious there’s space for crypto-capable financial planners who can bridge both traditional and new methods the same applies to other industries too. there’s a lot of money in crypto, but very few resources tailored to its specific issues. mental health and therapy, for example, could also be huge win-wins for those wanting to contribute their skills
