Where in the Constitution does it say you can’t have a dual/parallel government or legal system like Sharia? The Political Parties have become a Broadway Show. Voting on Propositions in the Primaries is just to learn what gets the public's emotions high. Calls to “BAN” a dual/parallel government and legal system with those who would impersonate a judge are nonsensical and just for show. Then the other side, by their own words, doesn't even know what it is. We don't have to “BAN” Sharia law. It's already against the Constitution, and those who attempt to enforce it can be charged and prosecuted. U.S. Constitution: Article I, Section 10 Restricts states from creating independent legal or military systems that function as parallel governments. Combined with the Supremacy Clause, this prevents any group from establishing courts with coercive public authority outside the constitutional framework. Texas Constitution: Article II, Section 1 The powers of the Government of the State of Texas shall be divided into three distinct departments, each of which shall be confided to a separate body of magistracy, to wit: Those which are Legislative to one; those which are Executive to another, and those which are Judicial to another; and no person, or collection of persons, being of one of these departments, shall exercise any power properly attached to either of the others, except in the instances herein expressly permitted. Texas Penal Code § 37.11 (Impersonating Public Servant). A third-degree felony under Texas Penal Code § 12.34 is punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. This Is Important, Be Prepared and Ready Texas, this is serious. The data centers, 765KV lines, and all of these massive developments that are destroying Texas farmlands and ranches are draining resources and overloading the power grid. We are looking at blackouts, food shortages, things that may lead to you and your family needing emergency preparation. This is what our current Texas legislature and executive administration have allowed to happen.
