More dashboards do not create more accountability. Visibility ≠ #accountability. #Measurement ≠ management. Reporting ≠ #governance. If a metric cannot answer, “What will we do differently if this changes?” it is reporting, not a decision tool. linkedin.com/pulse/decision-…

Here’s a provocative thought: more data doesn’t create more accountability. In fact, I’d contend that in many organizations, it does the opposite.
