With a chuff and a puff, Thomas moved out of the sheds and went to fetch Annie and Clarabelle for the daily passenger work.

Thomas was called at maithwaite station, to take part on a special celebration with the railway staff and the fat controller.
He had a happy day. He was even tasked on doing demonstration runs backwards and forwards all day.
