I think I can FINALLY put my finger on what’s missing from professional wrestling overall. EVERYTHING across all promotions (WWE, AEW and TNA) feels like it’s either playing it safe or chasing viral moments, with no long-term plan. And even when there is a long-term plan, some storylines feel like they mock the audience's intelligence, sometimes resorting to revisionist history. Unpredictability feels like a lost art, and the "surprises" feel empty—all in the name of a “moment.” Does anyone else feel the exact same way I do?
