To everyone I've had the fun of exchanging tweets with, thank you. I've done my stint on the committee and am now handing on Twitter to Susan Connor. So it's good bye from me and may all your predictive texts work (or at last give you a giggle).
Couldn't help noticing how many people at the Festival had their own reusable coffee cups. Obviously wanted to save paper for more books.

Here @TarbertBookFest. The last time I was in Tarbert, the newsagent told me Maggie had just resigned and I thought it was a wind-up. (It wasn't.) Wondering if history is going to repeat itself..

Fabulous time @TarbertBookFest hearing fascinating writers such as @DameDeniseMina and Alan Taylor. Even muscled in myself - thanks to @AnneHamilton7 for chairing.
Fab final day today with Tarbert looking gorgeous in the frosty sunshine. Thank you to @OlgaWojtas for a great fun talk, to Alan Taylor and Brian Morton for letting us eavesdrop on their insights into Muriel Spark and to Struan Stevenson for his tales of dangerous meals!
Thank you so much to @DameDeniseMina for such a fascinating evening. Loved the outfit too. (And she called us mad!)
Hugely enjoyable evening with @kintyregin (bought the big one by the way) and @DameDeniseMina at the lovely @StonefieldC
